1. Automatic Door Lock - Disable it!
2. Seat Belt Alert - Disable it!
3. Control the external door open button LEDs? They are difficult for my passengers to sometimes see when I stop to pick them up so I would like them always on, or at least while in Park.

If they are, which module might I find them in?

Thanks!

for deactivating the seat belt alert you don't even need to do any programming.
Within 60 seconds you need to buckle in and out between 9 and 12 times

1.) ignition on
2.) take your feet off any pedal
3.) all control lights need to be off
4.) now buckle up, 9 to 12 times within 60 seconds
5.) the instrument cluster should show your control light flashing 3 times
6.) finished, ignition off

That's how it works at least in EU, but should be the same in the States

almost forgot, yes you can deactivate auto door lock, I however use UCDS, but you can do it with Forscan as well

Do you happen to know which module the auto door lock setting is in?

This is a great example of why owners of $60,000+ vehicles should RTFM. Looking for a high tech solution to something explained clearly in the manual. Page 50.

Thanks for the scarcasm! I do not not have a printed owners manual nor could I find a pdf to download. All I found is this HTML manual which does not have page numbers.

I found this In the HTML manual, Seatbelts - Seatbelt Precautions, page 14.
For USA/Canada it's only three times within 30 seconds.

SWITCHING THE SEATBELT REMINDER ON AND OFF

Ford Mustang Mach-E Are these options available to change (via FORScan)? imagen2
WARNING: While the system allows you to deactivate it, this system is designed to improve your chances of being safely belted and surviving an accident. We recommend you leave the system activated for yourself and others who may use the vehicle.
Note: The driver and front passenger warnings independently switch off. When you perform this procedure for one seating position, do not buckle the other position as this cancels the process.
Note: If you are using MyKey, you cannot disable the seatbelt reminder. If the seatbelt reminder has been previously disabled, it is re-enabled during the use of MyKey. See MyKey™.
Read Steps 1-4 before proceeding with the programming procedure.
Make sure that:
  • The parking brake is set.
  • The transmission is in park (P).
  • The power is off.
  • You close all vehicle doors.
  • The driver and front passenger seatbelts are unfastened.
  1. Switch the power on. Do not start your vehicle.
  1. Wait about one minute until the seatbelt warning light switches off. After Step 2, wait an additional five seconds before proceeding with Step 3. Once you start Step 3, complete the procedure within 30 seconds.
  1. For the seating position you are switching off, buckle then unbuckle the seatbelt three times at a moderate speed, ending in the unbuckled state. After Step 3, the seatbelt warning light switches on.
  1. When the seatbelt warning light is on, buckle then unbuckle the seatbelt. After Step 4, the seatbelt warning light flashes for confirmation.
This switches the feature off for that seating position if it is currently on.

Unfortunately it only seems to work for the front seats and not the rear...

I'd like to disable this as it gets a little tedious pressing the OK button 50-100 times per week!

Indeed it is explained clearly. But erroneously.

The indicated procedure fails to switch off the initial seatbelt warning chimes that sound upon starting the car. It does, however, disable subsequent intermittent seatbelt warnings, which is something, at least.

This seems to ONLY be for the driver and front passenger seats, not the rear seats.

I know this is an old thread, but I couldn't stand the auto door locking either. Way I park in my garage at home the passenger's side doors face the door back into the house. So I usually end up going to the passenger's side door if I need to get into the car at odd times. And of course, I don't have my key fob or phone on me to unlock the car.

In ForScan, go into the BCM and disable anything that specifies auto door locking...and there's quite a few. There is also a setting that has to be turned on so that you get the option under vehicle settings to turn auto lock off under the "Lock" menu. It is hidden by default because "Ford knows best".

Interestingly, in my 2012 F-150 the option to disable auto lock is there by default. I've had it turned off since I took delivery of the truck back then.
