Did they remove alert notifications in Ford Pass APP ?

Hi. Today i parked my car and when i returned i found out that somebody opened my charging door. I didnt get any notification in the Ford app. I used to get notification if something is open as trunk, door ect. but for the last couple months nothing. Also when i go to Safety and Security in the app the only option now is Ford Insure. Did they remove this feature ?

I think they removed Securialert with the expectation Ford plans to offer it as a monthly fee and possibly add some additional features at least I hope they do no one would pay for it in the current form. It never works and is not real time. I don't think it ever worked with unplugging the charger only doors, hatch and hood opened.

To add simple features, that all other brands have, as a subs service i think its very bad move.
it wasnt working good but at least you know if somebody want to mess with your car.
I wish the car had better security system as Tesla that actually notify you if somebody approach your car or something.

Yes, SecuriAlert was removed in the USA. I don't think it alerted to charge port door opening anyway.

I only get walk away lock push notifications, none of the other ones (like charge complete) I get as push anymore but I get a message in my FordPass messages.

Push notifications from FordPass stopped working for me when iOS 16 was released, and they never came back.

I still get notifications, but these days walk-away lock only ever works based on the couple minute timeout. ?

Some people had notification charge port door opened before. There are few threads in the forum.

Back in 2021 I told everyone that Securialert was mistakenly enabled for US vehicles. We should have never had it unless your MME is part of a fleet program.

Yes ? I knew about not having sentry mode but not having simple message like hey somebody opened your charging port door or door is not very futuristic. I hope at least i will have notification if the alarm is triggered.

My alarm notification hasn't worked for months. I routinely leave people in the car when I run in somewhere and they have to call me to turn off the alarm because it doesn't notify me.

While it may work for some people, don't count on it.
