Got this message this morning after the Improved DC Fast Charging update happened yesterday morning. After the update got another notification to update to 4.2.6 for Smart Changes (Recall 22S41 & 22S29), but that update failed for some reason. My state of charge currently is at 64%. So I am not sure whats up and why I got this message today.

I’ve gotten that message about a dozen times in the two years I’ve owned Mach-Es. It’s sporadic with no pattern. Never done anything about it. The car will maintain the 12v battery for you. The warning would be better off reading:
“Hey, we had to top up the 12V. If this starts happening frequently you might want to get the 12V battery checked or look for vampire drainage.”
Happening after an update isn’t surprising as the computers are working extra hard in the background.

Just ignore it, it had to recharge the 12V because it got drained from doing the OTA.

I got the same message. Since I just took the car in for another problem, I asked them to look into it. If they come up with anything useful (seems unlikely but who knows), I will respond here.
