On my way back from Reno today I decided to take the low road through Placerville and try out the Tesla Supercharger for the first time.
I had a great experience. The charger handoff was almost instantaneous. I normally use Electrify America chargers and the handoff and charge initiation always takes at least 20 seconds on those things. I was also suprised at how friendly the Tesla owners charing in the same area were.
If this is going to be consistant across the Tesla network when it opens next year, I can't see the CCS standard staying around for much longer. At the very least it will add some real competition in the charging market.
