This seems to be a failed update I cannot fix. There’s nothing on my screen to help it along.

The dealership is saying this update isn’t available yet. They’re also saying there is nothing they can do about it. I haven’t received any OTA updates since about 3 weeks ago when I first got this message. I was hoping it would just go away, but it has stayed around and I keep getting messages in the FordPass app reminding me that this update needs a nudge.

Haven’t needed to before this. It just auto updated on its own every night (when an update was available) but I’m happy to try that.

Note, the last update I received was 4.2.5 on July 10th. So almost a month without update when I was getting them weekly.

Be thankful for the updates you've received. I haven't gotten an update since January and that was 4.1.1

That makes me believe something is wrong. You shouldn’t be that far behind unless there is something off. I’ve read of a few folks that stop receiving OTA updates and they have to take it to a dealer to get it unstuck.

I had that "Update needs your help" happen once or twice in the past. Since it didn't tell me what kind of help it required, I ignored it. Eventually the update completed without said help.
