I’m having this annoying creak coming from the rear right area behind the panel in the trunk that houses the 12v outlet. I removed everything including the plastic panel to put my phone inside that area just to capture the sound more clearly. It almost sounds as if the chassis is flexing. It happens when I accelerate, decelerate, and turn. Any idea what this is? It’s driving me insane considering this is a new and expensive car.

Sorry, I think it’s important to note that I have a 2022 model. AWD select if that makes any difference.

Good morning! If you send over a DM with your VIN and Ford dealer info, I can look into your concerns on my end.

@Martinezjulio95 What was finally the cause and what was the solution to this case? I'm having the same issue with similar noises on both rear wheels, left and right one.

I had a similar creaking sound, coming from the rear wheels. Brought the car to the dealership. They spent 8 hours searching where is the sound coming from. Then they found it was a rusty screw in the wheel bearing. So the dealership charged more than 200 eur for searching for the noise (dealership charged 3 working hours) and then 10 euros for 1 single screw to replace. This was out of warranty already as the car is more than 2 years old. I still find it appalling that Ford is giving just 2 years warranty while other makers give 3, 5 or 7 years...

I'm having the same noise as OP. Dealer replaced wheel bearing and drive axle on both sides of the car and the noise is still there. They are going to try replacing the trailing arm links next. Note the noise went away for about 20 miles after they replaced those parts.

Yes I know this issue with the Woofer, thank you!, but this noise was more inside. I have exactly the same cracking from outside like laimonas.r

@Sascha $R-RWD Here is the invoice. Basically they changed one screw and one retainer at the wheel bearing as they were rusty and that was the source of the sound. Was it really a wheel bearing? I'm not sure because car was fixed in Spain and staff could not explain very well things in English, but perhaps a spare part number will be somehow helpful. Though you can see that they were searching for a cause for 6 hours, but put just 3 hours of work as they did not find any documentation what it might be.

Thank you for your Help! I ordered the Bearing Hub Nut (5267273) allready, but since yesterday my noise went away by hisself. The only thing i have done is to tighten the Nut with 200Nm, after that the noise was still there, and one day later it was gone. When i change from summer to winter tires i change all the Hub Nuts.
