And here I am wondering why the 30A mobile power cord is for the F-150 (and Transit) while the 32A version is for the Mach E…….? Seems backwards.

Does early access have an NDA? Seems like everything else that hits early access is talked about in length here.
It might sometimes but we really can’t say.

That’s easy. The Lightning gets a 30A mobile power cord so we can plug it into the Pro Power Onboard to recharge dead Teslas on the side of the road (and other EVs, of course).

Ah, ok that makes sense. It's for the greater good ?

Thanks!

(Do you think I was successful in derailing this thread?)

Im not EA but I’m assuming Charge Assist is a consumer version to what’s offered for Ford Pro customers. In vehicle app to find charge locations and initiate charge sessions.

Yes, when opting in to each program they are very explicit about not discussing. The program itself is no secret, but items like this are. I don't remember them being that explicit early on but that is probably why they had everyone rejoin last year and acknowledge.
Is it that much of a secret?

Here’s a video posted BY Ford on YouTube. There are literal posts about EA Beta Releases… but this should not be talked about?!?

I have Charge Assist, it’s not an update but something they just push to the vehicle.

Oh and while we’re at it, FordPass 5.0 beta just came out yesterday. Nothing has changed at all to warrant a “5” release, confirms that the dev team doesn’t know what they’re doing when it comes to software updates!

It’s pretty much identical. Didn’t realize you posted videos of this secret, I just did too lol

Maybe it's to ensure people read and understand what confidential means and remove those who can't figure it out before giving them access to anything that absolutely needs to remain secret?

I don't know, I just didn't want to get booted from the program.

Not a myth: The Ford Mobile Charger is known to overheat and should not be used as a primary L2 charging source. ??

Eh, Apple has beta programs too that have the same verbiage - nothing happens.

Either way, you’re not missing out on much - if you’re somebody who is not in the program
I mean I had intelligent range for over a year, a few others, I enjoy it

Just curious, how are they going to tie your username on a forum to your Ford Early Access account
