Name one that is that much faster using a 400v architecture.
Polestar 2:

Granted, it as a slightly smaller net capacity (82kWh vs 88 kWh), but the charging speed at the bottom of the pack is much faster, which makes 15-20 minute charging stops much more worthwhile on roadtrips where DCFCs aren't spaced very far apart.

I like this spec. I don’t know if the improved torque actually makes that much difference from the GTPE. The idea of the MME as an off road focused car is odd.

Just my opinion, but a Rally MachE is a stupid idea. If you roll over the car it’s probably totaled.

A better idea would be an off-road version with better suspension, more ground clearance and towing capability.
Low center of gravity means it’s less likely to roll than other rally cars.

That said, this is an “off-road version with better suspension and more ground clearance.”

Not sure that it could tow though. BEVs suck for towing anyways.

I'm not a fan of the yellow, but I appreciate it. I was in the camp of people saying that the previous color "cyber orange" really should have been called yellow. But if you look at this grabber yellow and then check the cyber orange pictures again, it really does look a bit more on the orange side by comparison.

Eruption green is beautiful. I like my grabber blue, but I think I would have gone with the green if it were available when I ordered my Mach-E.

Nice to see the stripes. The other Mustangs have options to get stripes, why not the Mach-E? Hopefully this makes its way to the other trims, as well.

What’s the overall charging speed on this new Polestar refresh that’s coming out?

Isn't a Bronco designed for such an adventure?

Sure but how many people do you think are going to take these to a rally event?

And not leave the parking lot? Rounds to zero.

Probably the same amount that race their Raptors on sand dunes.

It’s mustang tradition for Ford to make things that look like race cars, but only get used on the streets.

My 69 Mach 1 for example.

Racing stripes
Non-functional chin spoiler
Non-functional read spoiler
Fake hood scoop
Hood pins (unnecessary because it has a latch)
Non-functional side scoops
Open rear differential
390 big block (heavy, but not fast)
3 speed auto, Power steering, power brakes and factory a/c (grocery getter).

But it looks fast!

Get your point and agree. That said,
everything had a 3-spd auto or a 4-spd manual in 1969, you could get a functional shaker hoodscoop/detroit locker rear, the 390FE was no slouch and it's big brother the 428 was one of the fastest cars in that year.

Also, the chin spoiler might not have been all the effective but it's nearly identical to what they put on the trans am cars....with hood pins. :)

ETA: Like the car! I think a nice set of Magnum 500s look more in place but that's subjective.

Ok I was all set to keep my current MME till it died but I just saw that Eruption green will only be available on the Rally.
Stopping in to my dealer today to put me on "The List" for when ordering opens.

Or there is this. Just depends on how the car was optioned when bought (and then how it was modified). This, incidentally, is the car that Jim Farley drove to a win in the 2021 HTA race at Laguna Seca (photo shot at Sonoma in 2021). ??

I can't wait for one to show up at our local RallyX and get absolutely raped by a your average 250k mile 1990s 2.2 Subaru with nothing more than a set of KYB GR2's and some thrown away rally tires......

250 mile range with a 91kw battery seems laughable...

Still no towing? Still no heat pump? $65k???

I'm just hating because I can't afford one

You can say the same for pretty much any class of car.

Some of the slowest drivers I encounter are in Corvettes and 911s.

Some of the most immaculate looking vehicles on the road are pick-up trucks, especially Raptors and TRXs.

And the only thing most Wranglers have climbed are concrete wheel stops in a Trader Joe’s parking lot.

P.S. gorgeous Mustang ?
