(un)Stuck at 6.1.0 - 2021 Only

Thought one or two 2021s were listed under 6.2 in the 6.x poll? Maybe by FDRS or before the OTA gate closed?

Would be nice to know exactly what the issue(s) is/are with 6.2 (and further 6.x updates?) for 2021s.

2021 early Job 1; non-EAP and not using FDRS myself to install updates. 6.1.0 had trouble downloading on 12 October and then completed and installed on Friday the 13th. Had the Connected Services problem between initial 6.1 attempt and successful install.

First Edition, November 2020 build. In EA. Updates were going very smoothly but stopped cold after 6.1.

Is it possible that we’re going to skip straight to 6.5 with everyone else, like we’ve already got parts of these other updates for prior updates? It’s possible that 2021 updates numbered 6.1, for example, are not the same as 6.1 updates for 2022 or 2023 vehicles?

Anyone know what hardware or software issue is delaying job 1’s? Good news for me is we also have a ‘22 mme that is on 6.4 so we’ll be able to use bc 1.3 when it comes.

There's been enough chatter scattered throughout other threads on this, I figured we might as well have a dedicated thread to discuss it. I always appreciate having a thread I know I can go to for updates and news on a specific issue.

As far as I can tell it's specifically 2021 Job 1 vehicles that have started the BC update process, but stopped at 6.1.0. Is there anyone else in the affected group? Or is this pretty much it? Curious who else is in this boat

I'm hoping that we get caught up fast enough to have time to evaluate 1.3 before our BC trial is up.

I have a 2021 Job 1 with the same issue. I have an appointment with my dealer's tech specialist to see if he can download the latest updates at the end of the month.
