Doug's video points out some features that I wouldn't mind seeing in the Mach-E that wouldn't degrade from the more luxury take - the lights on the tailgate and in the cargo area and the bag clips in the cargo area would be pretty nice to have on any CUV/SUV including ours. (The cargo liner on the other hand, while neat to have, I suspect would take away from the intended feel of the vehicle...)

I'm only partway through the video so there may be other stuff as well.

If it weren’t for the Mach E . . . Also had a First Edition Sport ordered in Area 51, but I didn’t win the lottery. That would have been my next car. Back seat looks pretty tight compared to the Mach E though. Only negative I saw.

The Mach E does have clips at the tailgate both on the floor and on the sides for attaching a cargo net. You can also clip onto the LATCH fittings on the back of the back seat.

Based on the pictures so far, it's not the same thing. The clips I'm referring to are a set of bag clips that are kind of like attached carabiners or something - hard to for me to come up with the right description, but they are actual clips, not just posts:

It also has lights in the cargo area on the side and tailgate.
Again, not the same thing based on the pictures. The cargo lights may or may not be the same, depending on whether or not there's a Mustang logo on them - can't see here... but, the Bronco Sport has two lights on the tailgate, and they each have an adjustable angle, not just fixed, with a dedicated cargo area button to allow you to turn them on and off with the car off (which I don't think I've seen in the Mach-E pics or manual?):

it's all shown in the first 5 or 6 minutes of the video if you want to see what I mean in action instead of just still pictures.

I never meant to imply they were exactly the same, just that they have some similar features. I agree the Bronco versions are much better for a true utility vehicle.

Remember, the Mach E and the Bronco have very different use cases.

sure, which is why I said...

...but I do think that there are things like the adjustable lights and the better clips that would be useful in any CUV/SUV. Sometimes "standard" features start out in specialized vehicles and then spread, after all. ?
