FDRS software doesn’t recognise my MME VIN for any software updates.
Offline updates are not available either when I enter my vehicle details manually in the FDRS software.
Could it be the Ford UK dealer did not register my MME VIN on the Ford UK database before exporting it to Seychellles.?
Can anyone advise on a way forward please?

I've just checked your VIN on FDRS and can see the following updates....

Ford Mustang Mach-E New Mach E4 Premium bought in the UK and exported to the Seychelles. NOT UPDATING. 1700267663207

I can also see that on the 12th Nov you were able to run some self tests and vehicle info requests.... so I'm presuming you managed to get in ok.

Sundays are also when Ford do back end server maintenance - so maybe avoid trying to do any FDRS work on those days :)

Thank you for assisting me. I’ll try to run the updates again today and see if I can access them.
I'll post the outcome here. ?

So just in case nobody's mentioned it or you haven't read it somewhere else it's a good practice to do any GWM, APIM, and TCU updates (in that order) before doing any other module updates.

And I haven't done this myself because I haven't needed to...you may want to go to the TCU section of the tools menu and have a go at provisioning your TCU.

Your TCU right now isn't working because the car's expectations are that it's in the UK somewhere. Running the TCU provisioning tool routine may get your car's TCU online there with a local cell carrier. I don't know that it will work, but it might be worth a try. It's not working now...so might as well give it a go..can't be worse than it is now.

Oh. I haven’t followed that order and I’m still updating. I’ll do those as soon as it finishes the current CMR update which is taking a long time…

That one normally takes about 52 minutes to an hour.

Here's Ford's notes on updating the GWM, APIM, and TCU. Normally only one of these modules will be in your list at any given time. But they should always be updated using the priority shown if more than one appear in your list to avoid dependency issues.

And the reason I said it was good practice to update those three before doing anything else is that we've had instances where somebody updated a PCM for example...and it blocked them from getting future gateway updates...that sort of thing.

I imported a new Mach E4 Premium from the UK to the Seychelles where I live.
Since day one, I have not been able to get any OTA updates despite being connected to the internet via WiFi.
It is still on Sync Version 411 five months later after getting it. When I scan for updates, it says the software is up to date.
Any ideas how to get the OTA updates working? Thank you.
I know how you feel. I JUST got 4.1.2 - more than 2 1/2 years after buying the car!!!

I live in the states and have good cellular AND wifi. I've been told by another member Mike (responses above), who has FDRS available (not by Ford), that there are modules that have updated "out of sequence" that is essentially blocking new OTA updates from arriving (actually "being requested" by the car). Looks like another trip to the dealer to try to explain it to them and see if they can finally correct it. This will have been like 6-8 trips to do so. Best of luck!
