Surely you can't be 50. I am 50, and don't call me Shirley.

68 here. Maybe I'll take a photo of my 2021 MME GT PE next to tge 1968 Corvette I'm restoring.
BTW, the MME will smoke the Corvette any time, any where.

Snap - I’m also 77 and will turn 78 soon. Love my Mach AWD - the acceleration makes me feel 18 again?
So great to see others in my age range here. I was born in the early 1950's and grew up into a Ford fan, largely because there were SO many Chevy fans and I'm not a joiner. My first *real* Ford was a Grabber Yellow Boss 302 Mustang, with all the trimmings, that slaughtered most muscle cars, including a Charger 426 Hemi, and ran head to head with a friends Z28 302 Camaro. The only car the ever slaughtered me was a Boss 429 Mustang, and not by a trival amount. ;-)

I traded in my Hybrid Explorer on my '23 AWD ER Rapid Red Mach-E and have had no issues at all and LOVE it. No looking back for me...

So when I was 20, I ordered and received a brand new 1971 Mustang notchback with a 429 Ram Air, 3:91 rear end, 4-speed Hurst shifter, black with a black vinyl roof and brown houndstooth interior. Probably the only such hi-po notchback ever built and, yes, I wish I had kept it. Now I'm 72 and loving my 2023 mme GT. (But not loving the midwestern winter range deterioration).

I moved from a classic stock 1955 p/u to my 22 mme and at 81 I feel like I am in my 30s. Don’t have to crawl under or over to keep it running . Love the car and have had no issues.

I’m right there with you.
People like to call them “Mid-Life Crisis” cars. These are the same people that have other derogatory names for great cars bought when we’re both younger and older. It almost seems like they just don’t understand and because of that, want to dismiss or find the negative in things. I mean, I don’t make up rude terms for your garden, or expensive purses, or girl trips, or plastic surgery. OK. Maybe I do joke about the last one…. But not to your face (if that’s what you still call it).

I’ve leaned toward calling my MME GTPE my “Mid-Life Treat” or “Mid-Life Reward” car. I’ve coached the sports teams, carted my kids around, taken and picked up from school, etc. I don’t need the 3-row parent mobile anymore. This one’s for me. ?

No crisis here. I’m still having fun, and now that I’m older and have more money than when I was younger, fun can take on new forms and meanings!
Love it! Bought my first red sports car in 1986 (mid-life crisis/treat) and at 72 my GTPE is the latest in a constant string of red fast cars!

My father-in-law said that old age is always 10 years older than you are! Words to live by!

There's a reason for all the Geezers - who can afford a car like this when they're starting careers and families? We're done with that.

Being 69 I get alot of ribbing but I still feel like cranking the volume when led zeppelin is on Sirius in my rapid red first edition
Hoping for many more years of 60s tunes with volume maxed

Stop, you young whipper-snappers. I just turned 65!!! Medicare card and everything.

Cruising in my Cyber Orange "Colonel Mustard" with the Beatles channel on my radio!!

Rock on!
I'm 74 and a lifelong Ford fanatic. The main reason I reserved/ordered my 2021 GTpe was the 0-60 time .. The 4 doors to take passengers on acceleration demonstrations, AWD, and great looks were also welcomed features. At first I wished it had an engine, but now I hate driving our ICE vehicles. The only reason I will trade it is if they add more power and lengthen the 5 second limit.
