So, it's been almost 2 months, but I thought I'd share this anyway.

I turned 50 in October (Yes, another older guy with an MME. But I sure as he// don't feel 50.) and my family found a company that does special yard signs to celebrate. They put them up, leave them for a few days, then come pick them back up again. I thought it was creative and fun.

Not one to leave her out, I added Surely (my MME) to the action and took a pic.

So cool !

Wish I had that when I turned 50.

In a few months, I will be 60 and certainly don't feel that old with my MME.

I may grow old, but I’ll never grow up! ??

That probably explains my toys. Err… I mean cars. ??

Happy birthday Dan! ??

I'm 53 and regularly embarrass my 13 year old by blasting the 90's hip hop and R&B they played in my college bars. I of course sing along ?. Hey Robin Williams (RIP) was still a completely wild and crazy kid in his 50's.

I was recently told to act my age and I replied "I've never been this old so I have no idea what to do"
Now at 66 and counting the body may be a bit aged but the mind is still hovering around 18!

My MME is what my wife calls my "old man crisis" car, little does she know there is a EV FFR Cobra in my future!

I’m right there with you.
People like to call them “Mid-Life Crisis” cars. These are the same people that have other derogatory names for great cars bought when we’re both younger and older. It almost seems like they just don’t understand and because of that, want to dismiss or find the negative in things. I mean, I don’t make up rude terms for your garden, or expensive purses, or girl trips, or plastic surgery. OK. Maybe I do joke about the last one…. But not to your face (if that’s what you still call it).

I’ve leaned toward calling my MME GTPE my “Mid-Life Treat” or “Mid-Life Reward” car. I’ve coached the sports teams, carted my kids around, taken and picked up from school, etc. I don’t need the 3-row parent mobile anymore. This one’s for me. ?

No crisis here. I’m still having fun, and now that I’m older and have more money than when I was younger, fun can take on new forms and meanings!

Had a black 1989 Mustang LX 5.0 w/5-speed at age 19…. Took off the mufflers and straight piped it back. No glass packs, coffee cans, Borla, etc. Nothing as loud as all that. Just beautiful, pure V8 harmony. That thing was a blast. (Fox Body for the world!!!)

Now, quiet is good…..
The GTPE 0-60 is better.

(No 5-second comments, please. Rarely use or need much beyond that, but still hope they will fix it, as Ford previously said.)

I thought at 73, I’d top everyone but then CWSpook chimed in at 77! Anyway, I don’t use the 22 premium as a “ hot rod” by any means, but as a guy that started with a 64 dodge dart I am in awe of the technology. Cruising down the road in this thing makes me think “ well, I guess you made it pal, nice job.” I’m not very smug about other things in my life, but , there it is!
