Has anyone else had the problem of their Mach E not charging after the update on 12.7.23?

I tried 6 differnt public fast chargers, and my home Chargepoint station which is also no charging. The LED ring turns red after it is blue, then the lights go off completely.

Of course I have 2 really important meetings today!

I don't think there was any update involved, at least I had no notification of an update.

It also happened while I was traveling and had to get to the airport. Murphy strikes again!

12.7.23 isn’t an update / PowerUp version number. No idea what you got on the 7th. Please post the power up or update number in the upsate notes.

FYI you might have to shut the car off for 5 minutes in between attempts. Some charging faults do not clear until the car has been off 5 minutes, so every single additional charger you try will fail until the car is reset by being off.

Thanks. I will try that. I was driving from charger to charger, then when I got home, I immediately tried the charge point home station and nada. I have it set to charge tonight at midnight, so that will have been 6 hours that the car is off.

So if this happened to you, did it self correct, or do you have to have the car off for at least 5 minutes each time. In the situation that a public charger is not working and you have to drive to another one, or are on a road trip, this is obviously a real problem.

Looks like a Power-up update to me. If not, please enlighten me. I've only had the car 2 months. Thanks.
Thats’s PowerUp 6.3.0, which is the best way to describe it. Everyone gets PowerUps on different dates, so referring to an update by the date you received it doesn’t mean anything to anyone else.

Ok, so this is a software update, correct?

FYI it has to sit unplugged, so if you plugged it in immediately when you got home it still might be locked up. This is the full reset procedure:

Try This First - Powertrain Malfunction / High-Voltage Battery Warning / Service Vehicle Soon While Charging

If it still doesn't charge after that, then it's time to bring it to the dealer.

After my charge fault, nothing worked, no matter how long I let it sit. Even let it sit overnight and tried to charge in the morning. Nada.

Assuming it is under warranty, get it to a dealer ASAP. I'm waiting for a new charging port. Problem is, they are backordered and there is no delivery date available. Get a case going with the BEV team too (M-F 9-5 EST).

If they can't find me a charging port in 30 days (WA lemon law time requirement) then it's buyback time. Unfortunately, your symptoms sound exactly like mine.

It actually charged on my home charger but I'm going to take it to the dealer today anyway and have them look at it.

I am having the same issue that is now escalated. The dealership plans to replace the charging port and charger wiring harness. I can only charge on my home charger if I jiggle the connector a few times and then I can get it to charge to 100%. Cannot use other L2 chargers.
Has your dealership given you an appointment date to have the port replaced?
