Best app for music

I’ve heard some people not getting much sound out of the center speaker. And it seems a software update has fixed the issue for some.

I have a 2022. Funnily enough, my problem comes from the fact that most of of the sound only comes from the center.

Spotify over Bluetooth. Usually on volume 6, or if I'm really rocking out it might get up to 9, so I can't really hear any issues with sound quality over road noise.

Is there an app that's compatible with the BT audio setup in the MME? It says the connected player (spotify) isn't compatible with the browse function, but I've never found a lsit of what apps are compatible.

If you are using Amazon Music, are you using it from your phone or via the enhanced connectivity/streaming? You can set Amazon music to download HD or data saver versions of the music. You can also download the music to your phone at high definition and set to play those files first over streaming.

If you have the stock stereo you're not likely to notice a major difference from most ways or apps you choose to play your music. To give it the best chance you can though several have noted - go for Lossless ripped to your own drive. I think Apple has an option to play the higher bit rate music.

For music that I own I ripped it using FLAC format and for streaming I use Tidal. Neither of these would be worth the time or money investment once again for the stock system.

I upgraded the stereo in my Lightning, so it is worth the extra time and cost.

As for everyday use, if you are using your phone as a source, wired car play will get you more bandwidth than bluetooth or wireless CarPlay (maybe for AA too, but I'm not familiar with AA). Sometimes little things matter.

Hello Beautiful People,
Any tips or suggestions on what app I can use to get the best sound out of my Mach E when playing music? I am currently using Amazon music but I'm wondering what other are using.

I use Apple Music. I have a One+ family subscription, so I can play practically any song and get exceptional play quality.
I have used Amazon music in the past, but it may just be my experience when I say, the audio sounds heavily compressed.

I had difficulty for awhile with sound but realized that what I had in the rear hatch area was affecting sound by blocking most of those speakers.

While I carry an iPhone around, I have an Android phone permanently plugged into my car with Android Auto that connects to the car hotspot.

Using CarPlay from Iphone I stream great sounding music from the Radio Paradise app. They stream in pretty high bit rate. I typically listen to Mellow Mix but the other RP stations also have a wide and interesting playlist. Rock, Jazz, World and Spatial. No commercials!! Just an occasional sign on by the owners of RP. I do send them some dough twice a year to keep them going since they offer free streaming with no subscriptions!
