2023 Owners: Does your front camera washer work?

Hey fellow Mach-E owners!

I've seen multiple threads about the front camera having a washer, which activates when you wash your front windshield. However I've tried everything on my 2023 to get it to work, yet the front camera washer never pops out. I've seen a few 2023 owners mention the same, so my thought is that they quietly removed this feature from 2023s. It's also not mentioned anywhere in the owner's manual.

I'm curious if there are any 2023 owners who have had it confirmed working.

Haha no. I used a stock picture online of the front of some random 23 Mach E just to show the camera with washer next to it. Didn’t realize I grabbed one from a vehicle missing theirs. Here is a picture of my actual Mach E right now.

Unfortunately yes. During the pandemic ford did not have enough 3 nozzle thingy so they put in two and their thought was to add it when they became available. Yet northern. I had a Cadillac CT5 that had th auto park and I truly miss is. Again was told then the chip becomes available but not anymore. I didn’t know about the front trunk!! I had that in the CT5 and never used it. I felt it was extremely awkward.

I read an article today that Ford is going to eliminate the auto park completely from all its vehicles because “Very few people use it “

The Ford guy said it will save them $60 per vehicle.

I am pretty sure '23s don't have it. I don't. Easy way to check: While stopped, turn on your front camera and activate the washer, you will see if the lens gets sprayed (for 23s, it doesn't).

I bought a protection plan for my 22 GTPE just because of the front camera washer. Our ‘20 F250 Limited has gone thru multiple front camera washers. It’s a leaking problem waiting to happen.

Wow. I’m still wondering if it’s a 100% non working feature on the 23’s. The piece is there, but I have never seen it function.

Yeah I don't have it either on my 23. I only really noticed during snow. I use my front camera to help know when to stop in the garage and it was always filthy, even after I ran the windshield washer.

Be careful. They’re liable to ask for your VIN and dealership info so they can look into your concern on their end.

My 23 doesn’t function either but just like on my Explorer, the rear camera really needs it but wasn’t designed in for some reason ?‍. I use the one on my Explorer and manually clean the MME regularly.
