AM stations without AM radio following update

After my latest update I now have AM radio station on my 2023 but no option for AM radio itself.

After the update the radio was on playing static. I realized it had toggled to AM so I could manually tune to AM stations. I saved presets for my local sports and comedy stations.

At the top of the screen I still only see options for FM and Sirius, but I can finally listen to sports radio in my car!

Has anyone heard any news on when AM radios are being enabled for us 2023 owners?

@Gimme_my_MME is correct you need an additional update before you can actually use the AM radio. I received it recently and now I understand why Ford decided it was better to leave it disabled. The reception is horrible and I will never use the AM radio in my Mustang.

Anyway, the next update you need to actually use it will be this one.

I was thrilled to see AM being on my 2023 finally. I tried 4 stations that I listen too, and they were all there and clear as a bell.

AM has always worked fine fir me and sounds good fwiw.

This has returned due to some pushback from the Feds. The Alert System has a better range on AM vs FM.

I guess all I had to do was ask and then Ford updated me. Got the update this weekend!
