I don't think the heater for my wiper park area has ever worked. With a FLIR, I can clearly see the heated chase up to the camera, but the wiper park area never heats up.

Has the windshield ever been worked on?

Maybe they messed up something with the connections when they reinstalled it. They're in the passenger side cowl.
I'm planning to bring it in to the dealer in a couple of weeks to have them replace the headlight switch, IPC, and half-shafts before the warranty expires. I guess I can mention the wiper park too, though I'm not sure how effective it really is anyway.

Just to confirm, the heated wiper park should come on when the rear defrost is on, correct?

Not sure, it comes on with AUTO HVAC when it's below freezing on my car (I didn't have to turn it on). Maybe try front defrost? Or Max defrost?

My HVAC is always on Auto (and it's usually below freezing here). I'll try some more combinations of front defrost and rear defrost, but I'm not hopeful.

Do you know if it uses the same connector plug as whatever the camera heater is using? Just wondering if something left unplugged would affect both.

Well, I think I've gotten to the bottom of this, but the logic seems dumb to me. If I have the HVAC on Auto, the heated wiper park does not come on. If I turn on the rear defrost, the wiper park still does not come on. If I hit the Max Defrost button, the wiper park DOES come on. So it does work, but I almost never have it on Max Defrost.

Every car I've ever had with this feature gets activated when the rear defrost is turned on. I don't usually want to blast hot air at maximum every time I just want the wipers to get a little love. @Mach-Lee , you said yours comes on when you have HVAC set to Auto?
