I have a friend who does this for muscle cars and Jeeps. Thought I’d give it a try for Ford EVs. I also thought of showing up at one of the non EV ones but don’t know how that would go over.

I would like this. That 500-page manual has over a hundred things to master (plus subtle variations). The days when it was where is the gas cap, high beams, lights, defrost, and windshield wipers are long gone.

I find it funny that people say RTFM, but it’s 500 pages of digital text. I actually just got hold of the 23 manual after 6 months of ownership. What I had before was the 21 manual the ford site pointed me to originally. I was chagrined that I had not noticed.

The tech guy at Port Orchard Ford is bright enough, and willing enough. Also nice and helpful. What sort of training does Ford offer or recommend for those 'techs'. I suspect it is not as good as it should be. I suspect at this time those techs should be having a workshop in the Seattle area.

I live in Sequim. There's always classic car/muscle car/rice burner/motorcycle groups doing drives, rides, and meetups around here...
