Does anyone know how to confirm if the nav software is updated with the Tesla satiations that can accept MachE charging at them?

My system the other day had a message pop up while I was driving saying the “plug and charge” was setup. I was on the highway so not able to give the message my full attention. I just noticed that I do not see any Tesla chargers around me. Which does not mean that the software is updated, maybe the ones around me are not active yet for MachE.
I did notice with ABRP now has all my chargers going down south to Alabama as Tesla chargers instead of the other network. I use the ABRP with the dongle in my car for the most accurate drives on long distance trips.I am not sure if this is now like this since ABRP knows the MachE can now charge at Tesla.

My understanding is that the software update currently being pushed is only necessary to allow Plug and Charge to work with the Tesla supercharger. You should be able to charge at a Tesla station without the update by activating the session either with Charge Assist or the Tesla app. Of course you also need a NACS adapter.

The addition of Tesla superchargers in the Ford nav will come with a future update. Nobody has this yet.

The Superchargers are in the Charge Assist app, they’re not on the regular Nav yet.

Yes, press the home button and it should be an app listed.

You can also find superchargers in the FordPass or Tesla apps.
I see them on the Tesla app but not the FordPass app. This is the issue so far or I am looking in all the wrong places in the app

Yesterday 2 March 2024 My 2022 got the 24-PU0119-DC-CHG4 Software Update
and if I go to Home > Charge assist I see Tesla Chargers, and each one says "Needs" adapter. My adopter is Reserved but no idea when delivery but Jim Farley himself says they will send it.

If you log into your Ford.com account your adapter order will be there with the expected delivery month.

The software in the US must be different. In Canada there is no “Charge assist” it drives me crazy when things are a bit different or labeled different. I have never seen “charge assist” on any menus in the app on my phone or on the car large screen. Maybe this is why Tesla sells some many more EV, they just get the software thing better. Ford needs to wake up fast, the market is moving fast and only the strong will survive. So far, Ford does not look all that strong

Update the FordPass app on your phone.
The app is always updated. I have an IPhone so the updates are regular and often. Still do not see what you see, must be different in the US

Not always, eventually. The iPhone can take up to a week to automatically install app updates after release. Latest iOS FordPass version is 4.33.0, you should check which version you have. If you want latest updates you have to go into the App Store and manually update sometimes.

It could be Charge Assist hasn't been released into Canada yet, or it could be because your vehicle software is out of date, especially if you didn't get 6.1-6.3 updates yet.

To be clear, you find Supercharger with the "Find Chargers" button in FordPass, or with the Charge Assist app on the vehicle screen (under the home button) if present. You might have to reset your filters and disable "Hide stations needing adapter" to see them.

Nope, I've had Charge Assist for a few months now. In fact I was in Buffalo yesterday and used Charge Assist to find an EA charger. So it is definitely available here. Tesla Superchargers were also listed even though I only got the "Plug & Charge" update today.

Hit the Home button on the screen - it's a black icon.

Also, the iPhone does not always automatically update Apps - I had to force FordPass to update the other day to see the Superchargers. You may need to do the same - open the App Store and search for FordPass - if it needs updating it will show "Update" instead of "Open".

Also, maybe buy a Tesla? You don't seem happy with the Mach-E at all. Just the vibe I'm getting...

I definitely do not have the Charge assist on my screen. Thanks for the screen shot. This shows me what I don’t have. All my systems are set for automatic update. Maybe that’s the problem.
As far as the Tesla comment you made, Tesla’s software is by far more advanced. If Ford does not get the comments, they will assume all is well. In what universe would an EV manufacturer not include a manual pre-conditioning button?? Easy to do but Ford does not offer it. Wonder why, maybe because you would ditch the Ford nav and use CarPlay. The Ford Nav is so lame, it has had me try to exit emergency exits on the 401. It’s really subpar. So yes, they need to up the game or drop out. I think they are not sure what to do as Tesla and BYD prepare to eat the big 3 lunch real fast.
