I'm looking to get new tires for my car and all the choices are so expensive! My tire guy said he could get Toyo extenza's all season tires that would work for the car. I'm 225-55-R 19 on my AWD Extended range 2022 Mach-E.

His quote for this tire is as much as two of the other tires. If it works it would be a fantastic option for a cheaper tire that's got a higher mileage rating than the ones that came on the car. Thoughts? I'd love to hear it. Any options for tires would be great.

I bought a motorcycle yesterday with 7 year old tires on it. The same tires that would only cost $300 a few months ago are now $500. This shit sucks.

Looks like it would work and be inexpensive but may actually be a downgrade from the factory tire. Also those are not low rolling resistance so your range will go down.

Depends what your priorities are if those are a good choice.

This is really helpful! I charge up every night and don't normally go on long trips so sounds like it could be an option.

I like the charts in the link they are really helpful! Thanks!

Tire rack is a great resource, sound like range is a factor for you there is a search filter on tire rack that will show you what are EV tuned tires those are the low rolling resistance one.

When searching either put in your car or tire size 225/55/19 103 xl

I found out today that apparently most EV tires have foam in them to reduce road noise. I did not know that. That's one of the reasons why these are so much cheaper apparently.

That's true but none of the stock Mach E tires have foam. Tesla did this in all of their OEM tires so much if the industry has followed.

Here is a good example of an EV focused tire vs a non EV focused tire on range. This is in a Tesla but it's still a good illustration
