For the past couple weeks my scheduled charging has just not worked. It says it's going to start at 10 yet the next morning I wake up to find it hadn't charged. If I go disable location based charging it immediately kicks off and runs fine.

It's been a bit colder here but the car is in my garage so it shouldn't be freezing. Anyone else had this with recent software updates?

Software updates often mess with charging schedules. It may be worthwhile to delete the location from in your car and create a new location and schedule. It’s not an uncommon thing.

So I went and removed the scheduled time but left the location and it worked. I no longer get better time of day pricing so I guess I'll just keep it like this.

So it has once again stopped charging even without a scheduled time.

I did a test where I switched from using my Grizzl-e to using the travel charger (same nema 14-50 plug though) and it worked. so then i switched back to my Grizzl-e and it worked again for a few days now its back to not working. The Grizzl-e light stays green which means its plugged in but no charging. The mach-e doesn't report any errors

Trying to figure out how to diagnose if this a problem with the cold, with mach-e, or the grizzl-e but not sure how to figure that out other then switching back to the travel charger for a bit and seeing if that works

Says it added 10 miles, didn't. only added 0.5kWh, added none. Also selecting charge to 100% does nothing other then make it claim its charging but no energy transfer. This was after taking it for a short drive to see if that helped

Bumping this as I'm still having the issues. Got the 6.14.0 update and still having problems

So far the following things work
1. Using the travel charger with either the normal plug or the 14-50 adapter works fine
2. If I plug in the travel charger then switch to the Grizzl-e then everything works fine for the next charge
3. I can plugin the car with the Grizzl-e if the car is still on and charging works fine

I took it to the dealership and they weren't able to reproduce and said the only steps they could take is to reset my car. Not really looking forward to doing that so wondering if anyone else has seen this and has a solution

dunno, it sounds like the problem may be with the grizzle? I may have missed it but have you tried deleting charge settings in fordpass and setting up charging using sync 4 screen.

You might also consider talking to grizzle tech support. I had issues charging with my juicebox, enel tech supports logged into it and reset everything and it's been fine ever since.

If your car charges fine with the mobile charger then I believe there is an issue with your Grizzl-e and not the car.

The weird thing is though the it works fine if I plug it in after the mobile charger, or if I plug it in while the car is on. It's a "dumb" Grizzl-e so there is no connecting to it. It just feels odd to say its "broken" if it works but just needs the car to be on

yeah if it's a dumb charger it's probably not the issue, it's only job is to send juice to the car. But got to wonder if for some reason your car doesn't like the charger, and you fool it by plugging in another charger first.

I still think there is some “hand shaking” that goes on between the car and the EVSE. Does your Giz still get software updates from time to time? That may be the issue.

Yeah, it's really strange. If I plug in the Grizzl-e when the car is off then the next time I turn it on I get blinking red lights. If I unplug and replug it back in then it charges fine. Just feels like something odd is going on with the car that it doesn't like getting charged while off with this plug

Nope, its not connected to the internet at all so theres no way for it to get updates

What amps do you have it set at? (Assuming it is selectable)
16 amps

I've got a 50amp breaker and the charger is hooked up to a 14-50 so perhaps I try to up this to 24 or 32? Not sure if that fixes the issue though
