'thank you for your patience' email, with no update news ?!

I got an email today (6/14/24) from @Ford Motor Company thanking me for my patience and encouraging me to check on status. So, I logged into Ford.com and my order page still shows original ship date of July 2024 for my order (#22003).... and there is no change on the page, still shows July.

so why tell me to check, or bother to thank me for my patience since we are still before my original estimated date of 'July'?

A survey dialog popped up, and I filled it out... basically telling them that my visit to the site was a waste of my time as there was no update on the est ship date.

...and even stranger, I just went back again, logged in, and all pages under my account are blank now ! no content !!

I received the same email. When I saw the "Thanks for your patience" title, I thought it meant there was an update. But when I followed the link, the month (which was June) is still June. It appears nothing has changed.

I suppose this was a "we didn't forget about you" email.

I received the same email. When I went to check the status, the order that I placed in February, that was moved from May to June, still says June.

After I logged in, the progress spinner kept spinning. Then the survey came up - which I declined. Then the spinner was still spinning.

I suppose the update on my adapter will be available "soon"...

I logged out, and went back in via the 'thank you' email, and content is back.... doesn't make me trust @Ford Motor Company 's ability to manage software, OTA, or meaningful 'updates' or release notes even when they have our contact and vehicle information.

At this point, my guess is they center everyone the same email at the same time and a higher-than-normal number of people are now trying to log in ... and their servers can't handle the load. You're getting a blank page because it is timing out.

I would hope for some meaningful information like 'because of ..., your estimated ship date for order #220003 is now ...' Otherwise its just a waste of my time.

I got the same email and clicked to check on my status. The website was very slow. So I'm not sure if they were having some issues. I'm still on track for June according to the website. I'm order 90XX so ideally they'll still be able to hit the June target. In the meantime I have already used the A2Z on my trip from LA to Tucson. I'm planning on being in Vegas next week as it will come in very handy as the EA infrastructure there has been terrible of late.

they KNOW our order numbers, VIN, and emails, why not just put relevant info (like revised delivery date) in the email ? encouraging UN-needed server traffic seems dumb.

I also received this curious email. I am in the low 9,000’s. Originally had a May date, got bumped to June and I am still in June. I am hopeful that the Farley comments which hinted at the concept that they had 10,000 adapters and were looking for 90,000 more is accurate. Did Elon reply to the text?

I am thinking that this email probably means that they do have one for me just yet…
