I am one of you who suffers from locked out OTAs since August 2023 and have posted my attempts to get my OTAs “unstuck” all without success for me. Today I may have found the key.
In early April the dealer service for the 23B50 and 23S56 recalls was completed. My dealer stated that all modules in need would be reprogrammed.
In late April (still no OTAs) I contacted the Ford 833.389.0848 number which had me go thru what I believe was a reset of a modem previously.
Still no updates.
Today I contacted the 833 center and they accessed my car and confirmed that my settings were correct (duh). So my VIN has been assigned to a case number so that the dealership will update the appropriate modules. I am now waiting to heat from them to get the appointment.
From my communications with the Ford Center I believe they have now assigned a case to attach VINs to, that gives the dealership the instruction to fix our issue. That case # is CAS-49856762-D8R0GB (that a zero, not an O). I believe that culprit is the GWM (GateWay Module).
What say you @Mach-Lee? Thanks for all of your guidance.
