New owner here. It’s been over a month and charged to 100% twice on AC. Display shows over 280 miles of range (see pictures). This is supposed to be a 250mi-range model.
I know this depends on driving habits, etc. but I’m curious to know what you are getting on LFP 100% charge as estimated miles… is it more than advertised?

If you search, you will find dozens of threads on the Guess-O-Meter. The number is basically meaningless in comparison to "advertised". That is the EPA number, which is the same EPA number on gas vehicles and is a combination of city and highway driving.

You are clearly doing a lot of slower driving. If you drive at 20mph, the number will go even higher.

That’s the thing. I’m not really a slow driver. I’ve been doing about 50% highway (60+mph). I don’t have it in “unbridled” mode though.

Mode is irrelevant. Again, dozens of threads on this.

Depends on the type of driving you do. If you charge your car after slow speed city travel, it will over estimate

Here s an example (sorry for the USA guys for the Canada units ;))

City driving, lets say you manage to get 0.17 KWh/ Km, my battery capacity is 72KWh

72/ 0.17 = 423 KM range!

Hwy driving (70MPH) you get 0.20 KWh/ km

72/0.20 = 360 KM range..... its a huge difference

I always get a high millage after a charge, but as soon as I plug an address in the Ford navigation app, it resets to reality... try doing that next time... the trip I plug in is my 20 mile work commute.

Interesting. I’ve been only using Apple Maps since it also shows the estimated battery percentage when you get to your destination. I haven’t noticed a significant change or drop on the car display after I start driving. My vehicle is pretty new though (700mi so far) and I have only charged to full twice.

Your location says it all . Atlanta . Heat gets you a higher number . Its up to you and your driving to make that number a reality .
I charged up for the holiday and my 270 mile GT showed 308 @ 100 % . When I set the destination in navigation it reevaluated the range and it dropped to 271....now that was going to be a freeway/high speed trip so maybe around town at 25/35mph I could've gotten close to the 308.
Built in navigation gets you the closest to an accurate range estimate . Maybe a mile off +/-

Makes sense. Hotlanta…
I need to use more the built in navigation to test it. I’ve been happy with Apple maps though. Seems to be pretty accurate so far.
