I got two 5 gallon plastics ones in my frunk for the boat! Then I thought if only they made a boat powered by wind or something???I go to the gas station all the time in my EV's to fill 5 gallon cans for my boat.
That would never work... Imagine the infrastructure to generate that much wind.I got two 5 gallon plastics ones in my frunk for the boat! Then I thought if only they made a boat powered by wind or something???![]()

All BEVs and PHEV in Hawaii have electric vehicle plates. You’re guaranteed to get a few looks doing this.I would assume most people see someone filling tanks of gas and assume they are filling tanks of gas.
Probably don’t give a lot of thought on if your car takes gas or not.
How long is the registration on those? I've seen the same one in CA for a couple years now and am starting to get tempted to report it.All BEVs and PHEV in Hawaii have electric vehicle plates. You’re guaranteed to get a few looks doing this.![]()
Standard annual registration. There’s an additional fee added for the privilege of never buying gas but it’s pretty small. Registration also requires a current safety check which is also annual, based on the date of sale. The safety check is fairly basic but on EVs it also includes the back up aural alert (beeping in our case) and the low speed alert. I get mine done at a shop that does just those and nothing else. How long is the registration on those? I've seen the same one in CA for a couple years now and am starting to get tempted to report it.
