Did you check for DTC's after disconnecting that? I wouldn't be surprised if some module in the car complained that the wireless charging module wasn't responding.
I’ll run a scan in about a minute

So I haven’t ran a scan in about a month on the car kind of had a boatload of all different kinds some I’ve never even seen, but I cleared them shut the car off restarted the car and ran a scan and nothing came up so I’m guessing they cleared I’ll show you a couple examples

Like I said these all cleared I didn’t come back after I ran another scan.

Well, I don't see anything that looks like lost communication to wireless charging module. :)
Yeah, the one with the phone I can remember back about two weeks ago where it wouldn’t pair with the car so that’s probably where that came from, and the other one about the short on the rear decklid, I remember opening the deck and it would only open halfway and then I had to push the button again so that probably threw that code off.

Same phone it’s just the first time that I’ve ever gotten that message and then again it’s the first time I’ve used this case, but I’ve never charged my phone using a MagSafe case. I’ve always just set the phone down on it.
@Jerrytball - I have the same problem with my Pixel. Looks like you have a 2023 GT as well (mine is 2023.5). I think there is a problem or incompatibility with certain 2023 GT USB-C ports or the power draw. I tested bringing the TWRAPS inside and plugging it in to an AC outlet and it performs very different (much better). I also tested bringing a 12v cigarette power adapter with USB-C in the car (center console) and you get the much better performance that most of the owners are getting out of the built-in USB-C.

I've been trying to diagnose this for a while and even had TWRAPS send me another unit which resulted in same behavior. Ive also been re-testing after each SW update hoping that it might get fixed but losing hope. Not sure if someone with more Ford resource access can look at whether there are any TSB's out there. My dealer was not helpful.

I wonder if we need a USB-C gadget to look at power draw. The ampere app on Android is helpful but I am not an electrical engineer so I don't really know what I'm looking at.

@MachLee - have you heard of any issues with USB-C on newer 2023s, particularly GT?

When you see my USB thumb drive plugged in that also can be plugged into the USB-C port, but it will not show up on the dash as a media so I can’t put my other little wireless charger pad and my USB port then I’ll lose my music so not sure how much power that would even provide?

I have nothing plugged in to USB A, just TWRAPS in C. You're only getting about 0-1% charge in 10-20 minutes?

Seems, Nissan is worse you can’t even use a thumb drive to play music at least in my 23 rogue or my 23 Marano and with Ford you can’t even plug-in a little 2 port hub where Where you could plug-in say a charger and a thumb drive I don’t understand why they won’t let you piggy back like that, I think My earlier ICE Mustang I had you could plug in a thumb drive in the glove box or the center console whatever plus a thumb drive somewhere else and you could have dual music

Two screenshots from Ampere...first is plugged in to native USB-C, and second is plugged in via cigarette 12V USB-C. The 100mA is very low charge and often goes negative which explains the 1% charge over long period.

Voltage grows slightly higher on 12V, but not sure it's that simple...

It’s some good information right there, I think I’m gonna plug in my wireless little round magnetic charger. I have by my bed in the car tomorrow and if that charges quickly, I’m gonna send back this one and if I’m not charging, I’ll have it for my USB drive, but I hardly ever listen to the music on the USB drive anyways but I’ll put my other pad that I have back in there, the compartments and stuff and on top of that the mustang charger that was attached. I’ll just leave that unplugged so it doesn’t overheat or anything. i’ll just run the USB cord underneath that rubber mat and it’ll be probably less hanging out than There is now

Just so I'm clear, did you update all the modules on your car, is that what all the chatter was prior to me jumping in? I only have the ECG updated and 6.14, and got battery optimization today.

Honestly I think there may have been a hardware change with some of the 2023s, but hoping this is a software issue.

So I experimented with that round wireless charger that I had in the picture below or above now maybe anyways plugged into the wall it charges very quickly, I’ve got it plugged into the USB port on the side of my couch and it has not moved from 89% and 15 minutes so I think it’ll get the same performance So I think I will use a 12 V USB plug and just use it like that.

Guessing side of your couch is only 1A which is nothing these days.
