It pretty clearly says it's the 40amp version, so nothing but the label.

Ok I just got it. Better do it now before the deal is gone. I went to the garage and the charger that came with the car had a yellow light! I took that as a sign ?. Charger is ok though, I just turned the breaker off and back on… ?

I was thinking of getting one and setting it up with Pulsar’s solar meter so that I don’t have to self adjust to only charge from solar…

but dang the power meter is another $500!!

I was about to pull the plug and order the Fisker Wallbox Pulsar Plus Home Charger (US) - 40A (https://store.fiskerinc.com/FM2998150020A.html), but reading the description in the link and says it’s a Connector type: Type 1 (SAE J1772).

I have a 2023 Mach E Premium. Isn’t the connector type 2 on the Mach E? I see others posting they are buying these chargers since it’s a great deal, but how is everyone planning on using them with the Mach E? Adapters?

Thanks for the heads up. Got one JIK. The cheap one I bought for home is kinda sketchy. Sometimes when I plug it in, the lights turn white, not blue. Have to unplug and replug in to start charging. Replaces one I had for about 10 years that decided to fry itself. Thankfully, it took out itself and not the garage/house!

Been using mobile charger since day I got my ‘21. This seems like good deal and allows me to carry mobile for emergencies though. Thanks!

If you have a 50A circuit, it will charge at 40A (9.6kW). The mobile charger charges at 32A (7.6kW). But if your circuit is only 40A, you'll need to reduce the charge rate to 32A anyway.

I had forgotten about the type 1 vs type 2. What a goofy standard that isn't standard. Now that the US is switching over to NACS, I'd be curious if Europe ever changes. They forced Tesla to adapt to them. I don't see it ever going back.
