2023 Hertz Mach E GT for sale on HERTZ website

I'm think of purchasing a used 23 Hertz Mach E GT from Hertz and it had under 7K miles. It has scratches and curb rash on the wheels. I have 3 days with the vehicle before I have to make a decision. Thank you in advance

Not sure what you're asking of us. I assume it's this car, since it's the only Mustang Mach-E Hertz is selling in your area right now:

You should compare to your options elsewhere and make the most of your three day tryout. Then make your buy/no-buy decision as only you can do.

If you like black, the Hertz Shelby ICE GTs are distinctive and popular among collectors. That may become true for Mach E GTs as well.

That poor mach e was probably ridden very hard. I wouldn't buy a rental. Just my .02

You know what they say about how things are handed by individuals, when it doesn't belong to them...

I’d say yes and no. The car doesn’t require oil changes. It hasn’t seen enough miles to really be thrashed. Most EV renters are renting a more expensive vehicle and probably aren’t going to trash it.

That said, luggage marks, road rash, weird smells. All possible, but you’ve got the vehicle. If nothing you see bothers you, and you’ve compared prices, I wouldn’t have a problem buying one.

I think because they decided to drastically reduce their EV inventory.

I believe all the Hertz Shelby Mach-Es have the Borla Active Performance sound package (exterior exhaust and other noises). I'd be concerned about whether that warranty transferred over. That system is now being redesigned (speakers), the app hasn't yet launched (maybe fall), and doesn't yet have a track record.

But how did it look, sound, drive? Was it beat up or just a little worn?

Borla sent me a whole new kit because dumbass installer put ground in wrong now I have two Borla said keep just send in DSP and DAC I think it’s quality, but depends what you want to make of your EV. I’ve had no issues running that and aftermarket punch 10 in sub at same time, only dash cam gives me fault messages in guardian mode. dealershi said what previously posted “maybe they thought it was a ice mustang…..BS they tried to but looked even stupider in their explanation.…. Threw in a “free’ tire since i had slow leak in mine and they wanted $300 for new. Ford Bradenton is my go to now they versed me well in what st Pete auto nation should or shouldn’t cover. Maybe it’s a one off but st Pete auto nation I don’t play when it comes to cars. Much love guys hope all is well.

I asked or the tire to be returned to its original state with nail. As I gave no permissions to change it. Especially since i saw nothing in the week prior.hence the free tire.
