You can go with a larger diameter and wider tire without even lifting the car so you won't have issues after you lift it. You are limited to what size you can install on your OEM wheels.Planning on installing the lift springs and sway bars this weekend.
Do you think a larger (taller) diameter tire is possible with the lift? Maybe 255/50R20 (also wider)?
Doesn't see that anyone has successfully changed tire circumference in forscan. Anybody know?
Also, how do you modify the TPMS values if I get higher load tires and want to run them at a lower pressure (for the same load)? Don't see the entry under BCM in the forscan Mach-E spreadsheet?
Thanks.
You don't need to change the tire circumference in FORScan because you should not change your tire size more than 2% (3% MAX) and that is hardly a difference in FORScan. Not to mention, the Mach-E speedo seems to usually display about 1 mph faster than you are going in all the cars I have tested so when you put a larger diameter tire on it, you will be right where it should be and if you go to the max of 3% different, it will be about 1.5 mph slower and not worth changing in FORScan so that is why you haven't seen anyone do this.
For the TPMS values, you can easily change them in the BCM non as-built. Right now they are set to 39 all around and you can change them to whatever you want.
