simple example:
the quill/ink well was replaced by the fountain pen/graphite pencil
the fountain pen replaced by the ball point
the wooded graphite replaced by the ever-sharp
the replacement technology worked

footnote: when we could read and write
This reminds me of when I was a little kid (late 1970s to early 1980s) we had to drive around to find leaded fuel pumps when they started to change to unleaded fuel and changed the nozzle.

People always complain when they have to change, but it becomes the norm over time.

From a consumer point of view, NOTHING should be this difficult period.
It works or it doesn't. If it doesn't, it doesn't then it does not exist/work.
Technology only exists if it works.
Where have you been since 1990? All computer sh__ works this way. It works great the first time and then after that, good luck. Computers make our life easier until they don’t.

Someone asked about adapter status. I just received mine over the weekend. I ordered end of February. Order# 900144xx. Can't wait to try it.

Yeah, if this is difficult then they might want to stick with ice cars and pay cash for gas as every one of those needs pre authorization.

It "works" fine. I'm sorry you're experiencing this frustration.

No relevance here.
No one complained- just observable facts

If you just use the Tesla app it will perform all functions for you. It will find a compatible SC station and it will activate that station. It is that easy. No need for the Plug and Charge software on your car. ??

Good luck with that. Does the wind stop when you shout at it?

So I used my adapter a second time and it was a success.
First time I got power train fault warning.
I suspect I got that that warning as I perhaps didn't conclude the charge session.
This time I used the Tesla app and it worked fine . It had a stop charge bar which concluded the session . I find that pressing the button next to the charge port sometimes doesn't conclude the charge session . I will press it it will turn white but if you don't disconnect quickly it goes back to blue.

What I will say is the charge rate was only only 81kw at 67% state of Charge which is low as I was at 250 kw charger.

The cord is ridiculous short at Tesla chargers. If there is a curb you have to pull up to within 2 inches of hitting the curb otherwise you have to pull in crooked and take two spots. Obviously the stations were made for a Tesla vehicle.

I can now travel and not worry about access to a charger.

it was a nice gift Ford sent. Happy travels.

No. People do not always complain. That is a cynical statement.
No one was complaining.

What?
I thought most of your previous posts were good, logical and somewhat relevant.
But:
-stick with ice cars?
-pay cash for gas?
-every one of "those"? needs pre authorization
I have been driving and owning cars for many decades. Obviously, most have been ice cars.
Paid w/ cc for petrol. for 30+ years, because I get/got 1-5% back when paying w/ cc. Do not remember last time I paid cash for petrol. Probably the mid 70s.
Have not purchased any petrol. in 6+ years.
