What's supposed to come in the trunk?

Hi,

Just bought an almost-new 2023 Mach-E GTPE... but looking underneath the trunk "floor" there's some spaces but nothing in there ... what's missing and what are the part numbers so I can get it?

mine has the mobile charger and the tire inflation unit.

The air compressor is supposed to be there but not the mobile charger unit unless you pay extra for it.

I kept the mobile charge for a back up and the new MME already had one

Mine came with everything but the tow loop.

There is no tow hook in the US.

It's the same inflator kit that's been in use for years. My 2016 Fusion Energi had one. The inflator doesn't go bad, just the sealant goo. The ones on eBay probably have a perfectly good inflator with an expired sealant.

If I recall correctly, the inflator kit should be replaced every 3 years just for this reason.

By law, they must provide either a spare, a mobility kit, or run flat tires. These cars come with the mobility kit. The charger goes in the round section, but that is extra.

The stock inflator kit is junk, don't bother ordering one from the dealer. A better choice is to buy a tire plug kit from Tractor Supply or similar and learn how to use it. Then get a decent compressor to compliment it.

The whole kit doesn’t need to be replaced, just the container of sealant. Places like Rock Auto have the sealant available pretty cheap. ??
