That phrase is likely automatically put on the sheet when there is a PCM update (part of the service). On ICE vehicles, the PCM controls the transmission shifting and the adaptive strategy takes a day or two to re-learn the shift pressures and timing after an update. The software may not be able to remove that phrase for EVs, or they just didn't care to remove it. They have to warn customers about post-update shifting behavior all day long so it's probably just habit. That's what is blowing everyone's minds: that a service rep didn't even know that. To be fair to them, the recall instructions say (paraphrased) "if applicable, warn the customer that the transmission may need to relearn their driving habits."
