I drive fast AF and fairly aggressive. I exclusively use 2PD and Unbridled. When I first got my MME I used Engage for a time but learned I preferred the tighter steering of Unbridled. Absolutely hate Whisper bc of rolling. I'm not a late braker but I felt the car barely wanted to stop even while applying typical pressure to the brake. Didn't want to set myself up for diaster so I said enough of that.

Ah, you read it correctly then. :) This old geezer really dislikes the "I want more" complaints on this and other Intertube forums. Every time someone posts those comments I read it in a whiny, childish voice in my head...

Newbie 2024 MME Premium owner. I am mostly using Engaged. Tried Unbridled for a bit today. Real world what are most of you using? Does Propulsion Sound do much of anything? I am not sure I hear anything significant inside or outside.
The middle one, it’s called something different in UK, can’t remember what it is, set it 97,000 miles & 39mths ago & never looked back!!

With that you get to use brake coach, one-pedal, all the attributes of adaptive everything

Can hardly hear it.

Now, this (attached) cost me c£500 and worth every penny, though wifey………well, let’s just say she is unimpressed and called me all sorts of unflattering things which I can identify with when I heard and thought about them?

I personally found the sound to be useful when accelerating while changing lanes or after a turn to scoot out in front of approaching traffic whikr changing lanes. I know they at a certain point in the doing I’m going more than fast enough. At 41 months if ownership though it’s no longer necessary.

What is absolutely necessary though are running pony puddle lights.

I use Unbridle + 1PD exclusively. But my shoulders + arthritic ankle really wish I could use throttle mapping of Unbridle (easy acceleration + heavier regen braking) with the steering assist of engage or whisper (smoother). I would pay for a mix + match option. I recently leased a Rivian and while I like it a lot, I do wish the throttle mapping was more customizable. Have to apply ~2x the pressure to the pedal to accelerate compared to the Mach-E.

Like others have said, whatever mode fits your needs is the best; it's totally subjective.

I use Engage on 1 pedal most of the time. I find it a good medium on throttle and regeneration response. Sometimes use unbridled and maybe used whisper once. Engage is just as fast to accelerate as Unbridled, just takes a bit further press on the accelerator.

I usually stay in Whisper because the ride is a little smoother in the GT with Magnaride. But I use Unbridled quite a bit.
