I agree that won't happen immediately, but hopefully before my Rally arrives in late March. I paid a $5k markup when I got my GT, and I would be willing to pay a little extra this time, but it depends on how much.

Have you had any problems with using the adapter when charging at Superchargers? I'm now agnostic towards the port on the physical car, I'll be using both CCS and NACS chargers for the next decade at least.
I'm not Jirmpa, but I will say that my adapter has been woefully inconsistent at Superchargers. The first time I used it in King City it didn't work, but after unplugging, pulling the adapter off of the Tesla Supercharger cord, reinstalling the adapter on the cord, and plugging it into my car, I was able to charge. Later that day in Buellton, I tried using the adapter multiple times on three different chargers and no joy. The last charger I tried there had just been vacated by a Rivian using an adapter. So, for the rest of that trip, I used EA chargers. Then after I got home, I went to a Tesla Supercharger in South San Jose and successfully charged the first time.

so it seems likely that we will never get BC 1.5 on older models. I wonder if the BC hardware on the 25's is much different.. I guess they gotta give you a reason to buy the newer model.

It’s winter in Canada now. I hate my MachE. In 2 months it will be spring and I will love my Mach E.

Why do you say that?

No, it's normal. It's the $7500 that Ford gets from the federal government on every lease
These incentives may be going away, looks like they will be, but it’s difficult to know for sure with the ongoing circus we have in DC right now. I’m really hoping all the tariff nonsense and this new trade war doesn’t impact Mach-E pricing in a huge way. Tariffs start on Tuesday, but I know that Trump has a full week ahead of him of meetings with just about every industry about this an how best to apply any exemptions. But I don’t have high hopes. nVidia CEO, Jensen Huang, met with Trump the other day to try to talk reason with him about chip tariffs and Trump isn’t budging. It’s complete insanity…. I don’t see how his tech bro enablers could be happy over this.

I don't think Congress will repeal the $7,500 federal tax credit until the end of this year.

Tariff is a completely separate issue. I'm not worried about that. I expect some reasonable resolution in due time.

Hopefully in due time happens before the ‘25 Mach-E we’ve ordered ships from the factory next month.

Was your price not locked in when you ordered? Mine was, I think, in 2021.
Locked in price does not circumvent tariffs. Unless Ford chooses to eat the 25% markup entirely. Ford and GM are meeting with the Trump Admin on Tuesday, I believe.

only because not a positive peep on that yet, and the prior wait for BC updates.
I suspect that there’s a roadmap where there is something called BC 2.0 and THAT BlueCruise will require a different plan platform and likely a more extensive sensor suite.

Why not call it "Full Self Driving"?
