Congrats, and thanks for the updates and pics. I just gotta say ?, as I was supposed to get mine this next week (also in the Bay Area) but will be waiting for weeks now.

After a day of driving update. The car is getting all kinds of attention on the road. I had a new Tesla Y owner gawking as I drove down the 101. I also got lots of verbal compliments in parking lots in Napa. The car generates some positive attention, and generally people love the look. Impressive since I saw two Lamborghini's driving around yesterday in Napa (the bar was high).

The car itself drives amazingly smooth. When you are at 80-90+ you barely feel the speed. The punch and steering are exceptional. The suspension is definitely on the smooth side, tuned more for comfort than for the track.

Adaptive cruise control is excellent as well. managed a safe distance and wasn't jerky or overly cautious.

The one touch pedal driving is awesome. I can't imagine driving any other way. You rarely use the break pedal and its perfect for California stops. Do NOT disable this function, it just takes time to get used to it. You will be happy when you replace your first brake pads in 10+ years...

Range for brisk driving is about 220-225 miles and I definitely ran it through its paces. I have an L2 charger (Chargepoint) in my garage. I added 72 miles in about 2.5 hours. I haven't tested other chargers around me yet.

I am getting more used to the tablet. It's great having the tablet the size that it is, it allows for a lot of information on screen. I use Apple CarPlay and its performed well. No issues with the screen, movement or navigation. All worked flawlessly. Phone charging works great.

The B&O stereo system sounds great. Especially when using the satellite stations. Clear crisp highs. Could use a bit more base, but that's true of any factory system.

The car is extremely quiet, no rattles at all, and allows you to just hear the road, your music or your family/friends. It's amazing how quickly you get used the to quiet, with limited engine/road noise.

Trying the wifi hotspot today. We will see how that works and report back.

Can you explain that fuel rebate and any thoughts if dealer adds a markup over manufacturer's suggest sticker. Thanks

I verified with my dealer that they would honor the X-Plan as they have in the past when I made the initial reservation. I also asked them at the time to make sure there would be no ADM.

Not sure what I would offer as a suggestion about ADM since once the order is placed you can't really change dealers.

1. What the hell is "White Claw?" [this is completely true - I had never heard of it until then]
2. Let me look up White Claw...
3. Wow, that's targeting a very specific set of people, isn't it?

of course now Budweiser and others have their White Claw competitors so ... I guess the joke's on me.

We got introduced to it by my daughter coming home from college last spring. Since we were stuck at home for the lockdown, we held happy hour once or twice a week. She asked for White Claws and strawberry lemonade vodka (yuck). I tasted a White Claw and had a flashback to college in the early 90's.

zima and the like are all malt beverages, which means they are grain alcohol. That has a pretty strong taste to it which is covered up with a ton of sugar. White claw has alcohol from sugar, they call it clean brew process or something like that. So you end up with something not nearly as sweet which much fewer calories

If the dealership isn't in that list do you think there is a chance they may still honor that rebate? My Mach-E is shipped and set for delivery mid-feb and I think it's probably too late to transfer it to a dealership that is on that list. As far as delays go that isn't bad relative to many of us. My dealer has never reached out to me regarding delivery delays (or anything else for that matter.)
