Might be a free year and a zero cost purchase, but they still get your credit card number and information if they didn't have it already.
My guess is they may not tell the day it expires in a year and only begin charging you monthly.
I did get it as well, but set a reminder in my calendar to cancel the day before it runs out next year.

My 24 is not showing the free option so far, i dont really use it but would be nice to have in case we wanted to

It's 100% legit. They just seemed to have stopped sending the email to let you know it's available.

I just purchased 1 year for $0 for my 22 MME. My 24 F150 does not have the $0 option.

Did your offer look like this? Other than this implied offer of a price choice of 0 annually, I don’t have an official offer,

Got the same thing 4 months ago back in October for my '21 Job 2. Chose the $0, 12 month complementary plan and a day later got a notice BC would be active until October '25. I traded in the car a month later. My '24 does not have this $0, 12 month complementary plan listed but my BC does not expire until the end of this month so guess I'll see if it shows up. I don't use BC but I will get this free plan if it becomes available again just to have it.

I never had BlueCruise on my 2021, but my 2024’s BCHF trial subscription expires in 10 days. I am not going to re-up even if it’s at no charge since I can finally (if I want to) use lane centering without hands-free when the trial dies. ??

Sorry if this is a dupe, I looked, really, but...
I just extended my BlueCruise trial for a year, for free. I bought two years ago and my three year trial was set to expire 2/26. But I went to the connected services in Ford Pass and it let me extend it a year. I'd seen others mention they got this offer, but I thought it had been for folks with an expired or shorter trial.

Same for me, I’ll be hanging on to this screenshot.

21 FE. My 3 year renewed BC expires 1/3/27. When I click on renew I get an 'Oops' screen. Guess I'm not getting an extra year or a software upgrade.

I just got another year free for my 23, i saw all these posts and decided to look, it did not even show me the 499, or 50 a month whatever plan, it just said 0.00 for additonal year, select credit card, so now i have it until 2027

It did show the other options on my '22 Lightning when I did the same thing this morning...but on the MME it just listed the free year extension only and asked me to select a payment method.
