Sorry if this is a dupe, I looked, really, but...
I just extended my BlueCruise trial for a year, for free. I bought two years ago and my three year trial was set to expire 2/26. But I went to the connected services in Ford Pass and it let me extend it a year. I'd seen others mention they got this offer, but I thought it had been for folks with an expired or shorter trial.

I signed up for it yesterday.

I’m sure hoping otherwise. Went ahead and “bought” the $0 one year extension. Sure hope theout one is an extension and not a call to Ford

I did it with 0 points. It didn't change my dates but now there's no link to buy again.

This is very strange. You would think Ford would want to take credit for this generous offer...especially since people have been complaining about the ridiculously high cost for renewal. I just renewed my '22 for another year for free thanks to this thread.

This seems intended for '22/'23 model owners who had the 3-yr plan baked in, and possibly for '21 model cars where the owners have been maintaining a continuous BC subscription.

If I were to further speculate, I'd say I believe the reasoning behind it was the almost a year's delay in rolling out the BC 1.3/4 updates to the fleet of established users with current subscriptions. So the extra year would make up for that I'm guessing. Seems strange though that there's no official word from the headshed on the 5W's of this. ?‍

Since 23.5 and newer all had only a 90 day trial at sale time, and came with functional BC 1.2/3 from the plant, it makes sense that they are not being offered a freebie year.

I gotta say, Rick: I like the @Mike G explanation better than yours right now?

Seemed to work for me. I used my credit card on file to "pay" $0.00. If it doesn't go through I will dispute it and get my money back
