They've had my credit card information for the last three years in order to pay for charging. So what's the difference?Might be a free year and a zero cost purchase, but they still get your credit card number and information if they didn't have it already.
My guess is they may not tell the day it expires in a year and only begin charging you monthly.
I did get it as well, but set a reminder in my calendar to cancel the day before it runs out next year.
They're not going to just automatically start charging you for a monthly amount without your knowledge.
I got an email the other day reminding me that my 3 year trial on my Lightning was going to run out in four months and that I needed to select an option to renew or not....
That's when I found the 'one year at 0$' option in FordPass. It will automatically roll over on my expiration date this June and give me another year.
I'm pretty sure you'll get plenty of advance notification when it's time to renew.
