Started about a week ago when I was backpacking out of my garage with a warning about a blocked sensor, see manual.

Now when I pull in the cameras don’t initiate and a warning of parking sensors not available or something like that pops up. No beeps, nothing.

I cleaned the sensors thinking maybe something was on them. They were all clean.

I have not tested the cruise control/BlueCruise but I hope they still work.

Any advice for a fix would be appreciated.

I don’t want to go into the dealership abyss but I may have to.

Thanks.

Good morning. Go ahead and send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer, and I’ll look into this parking sensor concern. Thanks!

Similar issue here, bought certified 2021 Job 1 MME Premium, and started getting sensor faults. Front left sensor shows it's "blocked", and I'm also getting "parking aid fault" and "rear braking assist" fault...any insight on what you found out?

My situation was being caused by a folding table in my garage. I had put it away against the wall next to where I park my MME. I park maybe 12-18” away from it. I put it back with the dark top facing my car. I assume the sensor
could not see it?

Anyway I turned it so the light bottom was facing out and my sensor reads it ?‍♂

I was doing a mental check about what had changed when the sensors notification started, and it was the table for me.

Ok, glad you found a solve! Mine started right after I went over a speed bump after being able to use self-park earlier in the day. Dealer told me it was a bad APIM, but I have a feeling that they got distracted by not being able to do some CSP updates and didn't even try to replace any sensors.

I hope you get yours fixed.

sorry that I was not any help.

mine works fine now with the arrangement in my garage.

good luck to you.

I did come across some other threads where they had their sensors replaced when I first started having problems.

Same issue on a 2023 Premium. Took in and after 1 days they said they ordered some parts and will need to bring it back for 2-3 days when parts are in and the one EV technician is working straight. Day 2 just finished and they said they are still working on diagnostics. Any informartion would help. Thinking about going to other Ford dealerships but if I call they'll all say "bring it in". Trying to see what others did.

A few months ago an ota update screwed mine up. I waited until I had the recall work done with the battery and then they didn’t have time to get to it even though it was scheduled. So I had to bring it back. $175 later after diagnostic charge I have another $375 charge coming. Because now they know the problem. Need a new sensor. So the best part is I already knew the issue because the car is smart. So why all the hassle and diagnostic charge? Car is self diagnosing. 3 trips to shop 500+ bucks later to get problem solved which literally happened with an ota. Not my fault ford had a glitch in the system but it’s my 500 bucks. Mildly annoying to be honest but I guess that’s how it goes. FYI 2021 extended awd

I have a 2024 premium with 1800 miles. The parking sensor fault came on after a day of rain.
I have checked the sensors and they look ok- but I don’t know what to look for!

not looking forward to having to have a brand new car in the shop for days. . .

Thanks! I wiped them down to see if that helped. It did not.
Today I got an error that the reverse braking assist is unavailable AND when in park the back up camera images toggle/flicker between the different park assist views.

That’s beyond my pay grade…

Sounds like a visit to the dreaded dealership is in your future.

That's probably going to be a dealer visit, you might have a camera or cable going bad.
