I’m Willmed and have been a registered member of the other forum since I got my ‘22 GTPE new almost exactly 3 years ago. I’ve followed this forum since then but only registered here today.

I just got a notification that my software updated to Bluecruise 1.3 but I’ve had all the features listed for a few months now. Are there two different Bluecruise products, ie., regular Bluecruise and hands free Bluecruise? I’ve had hands free since day one, if I’m remembering right.

Reading current posts on the subject, I checked my Ford Pass and see that Blue Cruise “trial” expires soon but I’ve been offered one year more for $0.

My window sticker clearly says I have a 3 year trial on “Cnnctd Nav” under Functional items but under Optional Equipment/Other it says I paid $1900 for Ford copilot active 360 2.0, Active park assist, Bluecruise, 360 degree camera. Nothing about a trial.

Since I paid $1900 originally with no mention of a trial or subscription, why does Ford say my “trial” expires? Even though it is $0 to extend for a year, I’m hesitant to do it because that seems to imply that I have a subscription or trial when it seems to me I already paid for it.

I’m sure someone (Rick MachE) will tell me that this has already been addressed but I can’t find it on search. Thanks for your help

Some people may get two BlueCruise 1.3 updates to make some small changes. It's still the same thing.

2022s came with a 3-year BlueCruise trial included. There are other topics on the complementary 1 year extension, it's legit.

Thank you Mach-Lee, I have enjoyed reading your knowledgeable replies and suggestions, but as I said, no mention of a “trial” for Bluecruise on my window sticker. It appears as a line item for which I paid $1900. Since I’ve already paid for it, why should I have to extend, or pay for, anything additional?

The $1900 is for the hardware.

Ali, With all due respect, how did you arrive at that conclusion?

As I said in my original post, there is NO mention of trial or subscription referring to Blue Cruise only navigation. There was no charge for the navigation equipment, why would you assume it was for Bluecruise equipment?

My car said it came with 3-year BlueCruise, but I only received 3 months.
