Does anyone have any experience with Ford’s Co-Pilot360 suite of safety/autonomous driving features (including park assist 2.0)? If so, what are your thoughts? Do they work well?

Got them on Ford Escape Titanium 2020. Using all the time the Co-Pilot 360 suite and works great so far, have the car since January 2020:
- lane centering works great when have lanes to see of course
- Stop and Go is amazing, car stops behind another car and leaves by pressing resume button or accelerator and car resume to the set speed but keeps the distance from the front car.
- ???? hold applies the break when stopped in traffic and you can remove the foot from break pedal, to leave just press accelerator.
- still need to test Park Assist 2.0

Thanks! Do you know if your version of Co-Pilot360 is 2.0?

I thought so too, but it’s hard to tell from the video if that was actually the case.

Yup. Door ding for sure. NOPE! I'll handle the parking myself thank you! ha...

On auto pilot in general, I hope the new ME system resumes on it's own after stopping without having to push the gas or the button. At least for several seconds..

Ford has 4 levels of Adaptive Cruise Control. I summarized them in post #1 of this thread: https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/mach-es-adaptive-cruise-control-without-hands-free.869/

The one that comes with Mach E does not require explicit resuming for stops of no more than 30 seconds. (For lower levels, the threshold is 3 seconds.)

I have to believe the meaningful, long-term OTA updates we're being assured are a real thing ("no really we mean it this time unlike when we said it about MyFord Touch and Sync 3") are going to be able to sort this sort of thing out.

Well, within a week of the MME hitting the hands of our members, there will be a video of some clueless person trying to find the gas cap for the MME.

We're all going to have to learn to change our language to "go pedal" instead of "gas pedal". "Accelerator pedal" is too formal for everyday use.

Heck, it's been over 400 years since it became clear that the earth rotates, yet we still refer to the sun "rising" and "moving across the sky".

Its all relative: The sun does rise and move across the sky relative to the person standing on the planet--its just a frame of reference issue.

With the charge door looking more like a gas door than prior Fords it is possible you'll get questions: "Why is the gas filler up front?" (Although I haven't had that question much with the Bolt which looks similar. In fact I don't get many questions about the Bolt at all; not like I did with the Focus Electric--don't think EV's are as a novelty as much anymore.)

I did pull the Focus Electric into the dealer service area once and they asked if I wanted them to change the oil (sure I happened to be standing in front of the big "ELECTRIC" on the lower door but hey ;) ).

Although since the Mach-E is creating a bunch of buzz it is likely you'll get people asking "what is that??"
