Hi @markboris, apologies for referencing an old reply, but would these GT springs work even on a RWD Premium, even though their site only recommends AWD?
Sorry for the late reply. Those springs (Eibach Part #: E10-35-054-04-22) will work on any of the Mach-E trims. Physically all the springs are the same. The issue would be your drop won't be what they have listed since your car is not as heavy as an AWD version. For what its worth, I've installed those springs on a standard range battery AWD and the drop seemed to be the same as the extended range battery AWD.

Any issues with the flood jack clearance after install? Meaning do I have enough room for a spreader bar/beam attachment on the top of the floor jack?

Just ordered these for my Premiun AWD EXT and want to make sure I’m ready for the install!

I have a lift in my garage so no longer use a floor jack with spreader bar. I think you should still be ok but I would ask Steve (HuntingPudel) because I believe he has a spreader bar for his floor jack. While he has not lowered his car with the Eibach springs, he can probably tell you that if is car was lowered another inch, if the bar and floor would fit under it. Also depends on the floor jack. You want a low clearance floor jack to begin with.

Thank you, sir! I’d love to put a lift in my garage, but I can’t part with all my woodworking tools :) I keep everything on rollers so I can move it aside and use it as a garage for vehicles occasionally. I’ll wait for his response just wanna make sure I don’t install them and go to lower it and Have it become an issue :)

I don’t use a spreader but I have enough room to stack 2 pucks on top of each other and slide my not quite low profile foot jack under. The height measurement is really all you need to know. If you have 1 inch or more of clearance now you’ll be fine as the car doesn’t lower more than an inch.

Great! Thanks appreciate it! Didn’t even think about that, just losing 1ā€ when I’m done.
Great, i’m starting with a GT lowering spring as you all have used. I’m also doing the sway bars at the same time. Wanna see how rides after that and then I’ll think about what I’m gonna do with the rear shocks. I know in some of the other threads people were talking about. The shocks have changed on the 2024 and 25 model years. Wondering if that might be a good option?

Stick with your stock shocks for now the Koni’s are gonna be a $600 option and they may actually make the ride too firm for you. The reason why I’m going after the 2025 rear shocks in hopes that they’ve revolved them in someway to be productive. The stock rear shocks with the springs and the sway bars you’ll most likely be very comfortable. If they’re still too much hop on the back over expansion joints for you, then you would look into the Koni’s. Swapping the rear shocks is only for slowing down The repetitive bounce that happens after going after a big bounce. The two stages of the shock may well eliminate that for you if I had a pair of stock premium shocks I would’ve put them back on to try it out, but I’ve had the Koni on since a month after I got the car and I threw my stock shocks away. But I have three other pairs of shocks in the attic, none of which are like the stock and none of which are like the Koni’s.

I have a more or less low clearance jack and with my load spreader the stock GT springs provide a lot more than 1ā€ of clearance over the spreader. At worst, you might have to sport for a floor jack, but I doubt that. I was able to lift a lowered Premium using my jack and spreader. ??

Great to hear! Appreciate all the responses!

Another question if I may, the adjustable rear sway bar from Eibach, what setting is everyone running and why was that your choice?

Only the front Eibach sway bar is adjustable, rear is not. I have mine on the stiffer setting as I have wider wheels/tires than the OEM's. I usually recommend the standard setting if you are keeping the OEM wheel/tire setup.

Well, I installed the springs and the sway bars last night. Went for about a 45 minute drive down gnome roads that are very bumpy and harsh. My question to you guys, is why the heck didn’t you make me do this sooner!

I was hoping for a five or 10% improvement and harshness. I feel like I got 20%! This exceeded my expectations! I think somebody in a previous post said this is how the car should’ve driven from the factory, and they were spot on. It alleviated so much that initial violent impact over bumps. The rest of the ride is just fantastic! I did the sway bars because you guys mention it would be a little bit more comfortable because of the better bushings, I’m so glad I did because I absolutely love how flat I stay in the corners now! Even when just driving normal, there’s a sense of security that comes from that feeling.

couple sidenote for anybody else going to do this install. The directions for the sway bars are fantastic! The directions for the springs are joke! They basically tell you which bump stop to use front and rear and that’s about it :) have a floor jack handy after your car is in the air really comes in handy to a line and get the bolts back in.

All I can say is I fell in love with this car all over again! Truly happy I did this and I wish I would’ve did it so much sooner! Honestly, even if I wouldn’t have done it myself and I would’ve paid a shop to put it in. It would’ve been so well worth it. Thanks to all who tried it before me!

Randy, I'm happy that you are happy with your car all over again! I was one of the first (or the first) to install the Eibach Springs and sway bars and have said many times, this is how the car should have come from the factory. I recently traded in my '21 GTPE for a '24 GT and the first thing I did was install the sway bars. Not sure I will be doing the springs because it already rides much better than my '21 with the OEM springs and about the same after I changed the springs on the '21. This '24 definitely has a less harsh ride.

Ok, I have a couple questions. I noticed in the instructions for the springs, that you are supposed to take note of the orientation of the upper and lower perches. Is the perch the lower and top pads, the rubber pads that the springs rest on?

I did make sure that the rubber pads were in the proper place on the struts. But now I’m second guessing myself. I have not changed out springs in a long, long time. I have only driven the car maybe 20-25 miles since I added them and I am getting a little pop noice occasionally when I hit some speed bumps. I know it takes time for everything to settle and I have the alignment scheduled for Thursday as my mechanic recommended at least 500 miles before I bring it in.

Am I just hearing it settling in or did I do something wrong?
