I have a Juice Box 40 which is not charging my 22 Premium RWD extended battery. I have checked the charge times are set correctly in the car and the Ford App. This has happened before for a night or two but then works ok for several months. It has not charged for the last three nights. I read on the forum that it will not charge if it can't get to the requested percent of charge-I didn't know that. Tonight i will lower my request from 90% to 50% just to see if that will solve the problem.
Also when I plug it in the lights will blink green and the go solid green. Its I recall it use to just blink yellow. I have unplugged the Juice Box and then plugged back in. It Blinked Blue and the went solid blue for a while but now is back to going green when I plug it in. I hope i have not confused everyone. Oh - forgot. I went to a slow charger and the car did pick up about 10 KW in 1:45 min so I could get home. now down to 77 miles.
Any suggestions? Thank you, Jack

Does the mobile charger charge the car?
If it does, try completely resetting your juicebox

How do you reset the Juice Box? I did unplug it and plug it back in and it blinked and went solid for a while . Now it is back to solid green when plugged in. By mobile charger do you mean the 120 V thing that came with the car? Idi charge the car at commercial charger but it was a low voltage one . It gave me abpoy 10KW in 1:45 min. so the car will charge outside my home.

Try unplugging it for an hour. By mobile charger, I mean the one in the trunk that came with the car. It has a 110 and a 220 plug. Use the 220 plug where you have your JuiceBox plugged in.

I did what you suggested and the mobile charger is charging the car. at least we will have a way to add miles. Question : other than not transporting the mobile charger eveytime you go somewhere without unplugging it and stowing it back in the trunk for an emergency, why do I need a separate charger?

The mobile charger isn’t robust enough for everyday use. It also at a lower amperage. I think 32A.

I have a Juice Box 40 which is not charging my 22 Premium RWD extended battery.
Is your Juice Box online or are you using it as a dumb charger? Mine is online and I've had similar problems from time to time, likely due to the company/ies that the Juice Box communicates with. I've found that the problems go away if I just wait for a while but I've read here that some are using their Juice Box as a dumb charger by not putting it online, and allowing Ford's software to control the charging sessions. My plan is to take mine offline permanently the next time it gives me a problem.

How do I take it offline?

Perplexity offers this:

To take a JuiceBox EV charger offline and use it as a "dumb charger," follow these steps:

Disconnect from Wi-Fi:
  • If your JuiceBox is currently connected to Wi-Fi, you can disable its internet connectivity by either:
    • Turning off the Wi-Fi network it is connected to.
    • Resetting the charger to factory settings and not reconnecting it to Wi-Fi during setup.

To reset your JuiceBox EV charger to factory settings, follow these steps:
  1. Unplug the JuiceBox from power or turn off its circuit breaker.
  2. Wait for 15-30 seconds.
  3. Plug the JuiceBox back in or turn the circuit breaker back on.

Enel-X, the company that made that charger, has shutdown in the US. Turn off the breaker for 5 minutes, then turn it back on. Let it reset, then plug in and it should follow the car's schedule. The JuiceBox app will not work unless you sign up with the new owner that bought the assets, and I wouldn't do that.

When Excel went out of business in the US and stopped supporting the JuiceBox I took it back to Costco where I'd purchased it and they refunded the purchase price.
