2025 GT Base wheels - what's the base wheel under the cover look like?

Does anyone have a 2025 GT wheel that has taken off the cover to see what the base wheel looks like? I appreciate the aero capabilities of this new wheel cover but wondering if there's a hidden gem underneath?

I didn't realize those were covers.? Makes me dislike them even more.

I've never been a fan of the GT "flower" wheels, but I'd 100% take them over the 2025 base GT wheels.

Hardly lol. Was born in the late 70s.? I don't like the flower wheels, but I really don't like the new GT wheels.

I think low key it might be the flower wheels underneath with a different cover. Comparing the design of the 2025 and the shape of the holes, they kind of line up with the hole shapes of the flower wheels. Not sure if it’s removable or not…

I thought this at first too but I lined up a couple pictures side by side and I don't believe that would be the case.

I also don't know 100% for sure these are wheel covers but it seems like it would be.

OMG I had no idea the '25 GT comes with such hideous wheels. Seems to me Ford is just trying to get an extra $1700 for each GT sold since who on earth would want those! ???

Didn't really care for the previous standard GT wheels or this new one. Spent the $1700 for the upgraded ones.

My flower wheels grew on me. I kinda like them now.
The new GT base wheels just have no soul at all. Yuck.

They are all alloy. No covers on the 25. I checked it out in person and felt the wheel and noticed it was a solid piece
