FYI, you’ll probably notice some braking differences, especially when hitting large bumps or slippery patches that trigger ABS. Regen will cut out abruptly and there will be a brief delay before you get regen back.
sounds a little like my gen 3 prius.

Going down hills in cruise, you may notice abrupt braking when the speed exceeds +1 MPH over set point, followed by abrupt acceleration when cruise resumes forward torque.
sounds bad... is this a reason to not apply the update? in other words seems like something ford is going to have to fix in a subsequent update...

It’s not that bad unless you have a lot of steep hills at higher speeds. And switching to whisper smooths it out more.

If your ABS software is very old, you may notice an improvement in brake pedal feel, as the initial “bite” has been lessened, but that is a year old change or older.

Some older vehicles may notice a slightly improved DC charge curve, with 100+ kW being held to a larger SoC value (~52%).

DC charge port locking will also be included (to prevent adapter theft), so remember to have your fob or unlock the doors before trying to unplug.

No clue. But there was at least one OTA that mentioned improved 12V battery management, no UI changes however.
Ah, you so correct @Mach-Lee .

I have noticed the brakes working differently than before the update.
BlueCruise is less abrupt with stopped traffic ahead.

And the charging has improved - at Tesla Superchargers the charge rate has increased and stays higher longer.

Overall time about 20% faster as I finished quicker.

So far love this update.

Seeing some odd behavior after the 10.2.0 update. First thing I noticed was that the car charged to 100% at some point during or after the update (was at 100% when I checked the next morning, target charge had been set to 90% at home location). Today I went on a short drive then plugged in when I got home. Now I see the charge level is at 97%, FordPass shows a status of "starting charger", my home target charge and location are gone, when I try to setup a target location it tells me I need to charge at the location first, the car isn't charging and I don't see any way to force start a charge. Any ideas?

My 23 Select updated last night, then went on to charge to 100%…..well beyond my normal target charge. Going to start it up and see what else it changed.

UPDATE: My charge locations are also missing which explains why the car charged to 100% post update.

What charge rate did you see?
25% - 100% Tesla SC.
Sustained 125kWh rate for much longer than previous.
Then after it reached 80%, it tapered to under 50kWh.
Then at 90%, dropped to 38kWh.

For those interested; I received a new 10.2.0 update today in my 2024 Mach-E Premium RWD SR. First OTA The car has gotten since December 2024 I believe. Details are in the images below of what my car shows is included in these updates.

I received this update overnight on my 23’ GT! The last update I received was in Nov. 24’ Also, noticed that the reported range in the Ford pass app was much higher than it has been in a long time.

This is pending on my wife's '23 GT Job 1. This resolves the 1 pedal fault issue that she has quite a bit, so looking forward to this.

The brakes definitely feel different - less grabby, even at low speeds, requiring more pedal travel for similar braking compared to pre 10.2 update.

Edit: my 23 GT always had very grabby brakes since new. I wonder if there were different calibrations between years and models.

I just had this done over night 5/29 and see nothing and or feel anything new. Am I missing the boat?
