Can't find a thing online about the stop sale being lifted or the software being available for the recall. If it just happened today then I suppose that could be why.

i got a call as well from dealer. They received the patch/update about 4:30. Will apply it to the soon to be mine 2025GT Monday. I told them to take their time and make sure it applies correctly. ?

will finalize the sale either Monday afternoon or Tuesday, depending on work schedule.

getting pretty excited about it

No word on if it will be available OTA. Current wording all says take it to the dealer.

I don’t think there’s a technical reason why it can’t be OTA but Ford might want dealers to do it just to ensure it gets installed properly and that it works.

well, the last OTA update i got for the 24 seemed to reference this problem; sounds like it was preparatory for this one. we'll see.

This literally says "recall incomplete." Why are you posting it as support of your claim that it is resolved/lifted?
The recall service is incomplete for the VIN number which I put into Ford's recall system. Which is vehicle specific.

it's not whether or not the recall service has happened or not - i think the fact that it says "schedule service" rather than "recall service not available right now" is the tell that the software is now available. my ford pass app still says "not available" but hopefully that will change for me as it seems to have for @RandallOfLegend

I wonder how they came up with 12 minutes? It seems like an oddly specific number? Not 10, not 15, but 12?
Automotive engineers are used to using the tens scale when working with time.

Standard Installation Times and Repair Times are based upon a 10s scale, so .1 = 6 minutes.

Back in the day, manufacturing process efficiency engineers felt that dividing an hour into sixty units was too cumbersome and 1/4 hour units were to broad, so a tenth of an hour was adopted as the unit of measure.
It additionally makes cost accounting & billing easier as rounding up or down is not necessary.

US Auto companies use the tenth (.10=6 minutes) of an hour scale. European auto companies use the twelfth (.08=5 minutes) of an hour scale. Not sure about the rest of the world.

1/12 = 1 ÷ 12 = 0.08333333333333333 or 0.08(3), so Europe uses 5 minute divisions - learn something new every day

But, America wins again, simplify ?

Japan uses .1 too

Does anyone know exactly what the update is going to do? Allow the doors to be opened with system power instead of 12v battery power?
