After reading some threads about tires, it appears the Pirellis offer a better comfort and quietness. I am looking at 265/45/R20 and have three options:

1. Pirelli Scorpion All Season Plus 3 Touring ($1,350)
2. Pirelli Scorpion All Season Plus 3 Performance ($1,700)
3. Pirelli Scorpion All Season Plus 3 ELECT ($2,000)

Which one would you recommend? My priorities are 1) comfort, 2) price, 3) range. So I am leaning #1.

Also for wheel size, 20x9, do I get a different offset for front and rear? or square? If so, what do I need for a flush mount on the fenders?

If comfort then price are your top two priorities then I would also pick #1.

Even though with the same offset (square) there is a slight difference in the way the front and rear tires fit. With that said, I would still just go with a square setup so you're able to rotate the tires. Depending on the camber adjustment and the tire sidewall style (flat or rounded) a +40 offset would get you somewhere between flush and about 1/8" inset.

Thanks @markboris ! if I'm only able to get a 20x8.5 width wheel, how will that change the fit/look?

265s will fit an 8.5" rim but will bulge somewhat. The tire shoulders will be at the same places as with a 9" rim with the same offset. You will definitely need to run a low tire pressure with the 265s and an 8.5" rim. That will soften the ride somewhat with the tradeoffs being worse fuel efficiency and slightly less performance. ??

Thanks for the info, I will try to stick with a 9" (just not as much selection as I'd hoped).

I didn’t find anything in a size that I liked off the shelf so I had custom rims made. There is always that route. ??
