Ford Bolsters America Commitment with 'Zero, Zero, Zero' Offer

July 8, 2025 Press Release

Momentum matters, and in the past few months we have had plenty of it.

In April, we introduced the Ford Motor Company: From America, For America employee-pricing-for-all campaign, helping make Ford the No. 1 selling brand in America for the first half of the year.

Total sales climbed in the second quarter at a pace of about seven times the overall industry growth rate. Whether a Bronco Sport headed for the lake, an F-150 bound for the jobsite, or a Mustang ready for summer road-trip season, customers responded to the straightforward promise — pay what a Ford employee pays.

Success like that is energizing, but it also gives us something even more valuable: a chance to listen and further improve.

What customers told us

Employee pricing for all was easy to understand and resonated with customers. But we also heard from our Ford and Lincoln dealers that more customers could benefit if we could reduce the upfront, out-of-pocket expense to buy or lease a vehicle.

Many families have seen their savings go toward higher mortgage rates and summer travel costs. They want a new vehicle but also want options that allow them to forgo an upfront down payment.

So, beginning July 8, we’re evolving. The employee pricing for all campaign transitions to the 0-0-0 summer sales event(1). It features zero down payment, zero percent interest for 48 months(2), and zero payments for the first 90 days on most of our Ford and Lincoln vehicles.

It’s the same transparent, easy-to-shop approach for our customers. And for those interested in an electric vehicle, we are extending the Ford Power Promise through Sept. 30.

Why now?

Summer is peak driving season. Families are on the move; students are preparing for the fall; and small-business owners are gearing up for a strong second half. A lower upfront cost lets them get into the vehicle they need today instead of waiting.

We know the cost of ownership also weighs on consumers’ minds. And we’ll provide you with a two-year Ford Protect Premium Maintenance Plan on us. That’ll cover things like oil changes and tire rotations. We know that the average age of a vehicle on U.S. roads today is about 13 years, creating for many customers the need for a new car.

When we say Ford Motor Company: From America, For America, that includes real-world budgets.

We will always adjust when customers tell us there’s a better way to serve them. Our employee-pricing program proved that transparent, national offers resonate.

Our new summer sales campaign program proves that listening never stops.

Conditions:

2025 model year Raptor vehicles, Bronco Sport, Bronco, Expedition, Maverick, Ranger, Transit, Super Duty and Lincoln Navigator are excluded.

2024 model year Raptor vehicles, Maverick, Ranger, Transit (non ICE Cargo/Van), Super Duty (non XL pickups), F-150 Lightning and Mustang Mach-E are excluded.

(1) 0/0/0 = $0 down payment, $0 first-month payment, 0% interest for 48 months and zero payments for 90 days. Tax, title, license, and dealer fees extra. Not all buyers will qualify. Residency restrictions apply. See dealer for details.

(2) Payment shown is the finance-charge-equivalent of 0% APR over 48 months on MSRP after average dealer discount; actual retail installment contracts may vary by dealer and customer qualification.

Interesting how 2024 Mach-Es and Lightnings are excluded. In other words, we want to move new vehicles and keep plants going, but not worried about dealer stock.

That’s a sweet deal. But still not sweet enough to pay new car pricing on a 2025. Not even with the tax credits ending. Not when you could get a 2023 under warranty for $15-20k less. But not gonna lie, the new IPC interface and BC1.5 not being available on earlier models is at least a little tempting…

Nope! Gonna ride with my paid off First Edition for five more years and then get me a solid state EV which runs >400mi of highway range on a <15min recharge!

Customers told Ford they want 0%, 0-Down and no payments for 90 Days and told Ford they only want the offer on certain models of the Escape, Edge, Explorer, Mustang(s) and F-150's?

This promo leaves off like half of their lineup, LOL. What's the point? My dealer lot is FULL of Broncos!

My thoughts why post it when it’s not relevant to this form

Just tell me when the 2026 Mach-e comes out. That's really the only remaining question I have.

By that time, my hope is that most of the serious problems (the unresolved "bricking" one I experienced, the "no remedy" 12v battery uncertainty/anxieties, etc.) will have been resolved; or, at least given way to the expected, ordinary new model year problems I'm accustomed to. Ford's competitors (including/especially now China) should similarly be developing/rolling out way better EVs for 2026 that should incentivize, if not thoroughly embarrass Ford.... And I'm not talking primarily about "range." If infrastructure had been allowed to continue and building-out, my current 215 average range wouldn't necessarily be a dealbreaker. At my age, stopping every 200 miles or so to re-charge and pee was the routine with the internal combustion vehicles. My thought is by the 2026 models, industry metrics, if not standards, may also enable me, as challenged as I am with this technology, to compare "apples to apples." Until then, my 2023 Mach-e Premium AWD (11/23 build) will remain a very low mileage, locally driven only, pristine garage-kept vehicle (undriven by my wife and/or daughters since the "bricking"), charged only at L1 (120v) since purchased (6/28/2024), until Ford/dealership can assure me it won't shut-off again while being driven. (I previously posted the dealership's invoice reflecting some "reprogramming") before returning the car to me. As I understand it, the Service Advisor is still "working on" the problems (including why I still get "Charging Errors" on the App without any, cognizable effect on the progress of charging) while I use the car as I must for very short grocery shopping excursions and doctors' appointments.

Re: the future of solid state batteries for EVs? Yes, the logical next step. So I've been very modestly investing IRA dividend monies in Solid Power, Inc. ("SLDP"), which is developing/manufacturing solid state batteries in the USA for the automotive industry, and too inexpensive per share to ignore; albeit, I'm not expecting any 2026 Fords to sport them. And I've also been throwing couch-change at Luminar Technologies ("LAZR"), which is developing self-driving technology in the USA; albeit, I'm too old to trust any hands-free app. This stock similarly is too affordable for me to ignore right now, thanks to our current administration's determination to undo/disincentivize/delay EV manufacturers' research and development, and to cease infrastructure build-out. Luddites and grifters can't hold back progress indefinitely.

It’s relevant to 2025 Mach-Es. They are not excluded.
But aren’t ALL Mach-Es on a stop sale right now? Not going to help Ford or dealers very much with fancy finance deals when the car can’t leave the lot. ??‍♂

Well we just took delivery of our 2025 Rally, and I've heard zero information about when the fix would be available via the app or email, but just called the dealership and scheduled an appointment to get the update completed on Monday. @GreaseMonkey, thanks for calling this out, sorry for everyone else, but I was in your shoes until we got our new one a month ago.

Yeah, if you took delivery before the recall was made public, you can take your vehicle in. If you took delivery after, the dealer would have applied the fix before delivery. Failing to follow a “stop sale” can result in very significant financial penalties (I remember on the tune of $20,000 per vehicle). This same issue happened to me when I was ready to take delivery of my 2022. It was one of the last batch built with shitty hvbjb and it needed a software update before delivery (also a stop-sale because the vehicle could stall on a highway).

If financing the whole cost of the vehicle, 4 years is still a sizable monthly payment. But not a bad deal for a 2025 MME if the payments can be made manageable.
