Look is polarizing.
got that right!

I get the "WTF?" reaction more than any other car I've had before. I also get a lot of people asking if they can go for a ride in it ;-}

The main points have been well covered. I'll just add that road trips are possible, but they take a bit of planning. You'll get used to using ABRP (A Better Route Planner), plus a few charging apps. You'll likely going to want the Chargepoint app installed - a lot of the free chargers still require a Chargepoint account. Free chargers are slow - figure roughly half the charging speed of your home 240V charger. If you need to pay to fast charge on a trip, you can often save money by signing up for a one month membership and then canceling after the trip.

Heynow! I'm going to test drive a Mach E Rally (2025) and am seriously considering buying one. This is my first EV, and will not be our primary car. As such, does anyone have anything they "wish they knew" before they bought one? What are the pros and cons of this car (not EV's in general, but THIS specific car)? Are there any glaring strengths or weaknesses in the car? Any hidden costs? Surprises? Disappointments? You get the idea... Any info is appreciated!
The wireless charger is useless . Just buy the twraps solution

You may buy it as a second car but if you drive less than 200 miles a day it will probably become your daily driver.

Thanks to everyone for their inputs! Most appreciated! I test drove one today and alas...I don't fit in it. I am 6'6" and 230 pounds. I figured that would be the case, but wanted to try it. The test drive was a blast, the thing had stupid power! I'll keep looking for something...don't know what it is yet. Thanks again!!

Plan on buying some sticky summer tires the 1st year! Have a plan as to what you will do when the 12v battery dies.(I have a 12v lithium battery in the frunk, with a dual wire off it going to the rain gutter at the windshield & a dual wire coming from the cars 12v battery jump start connectors going to the gutter at the windshield. Each pair of wires end in a rubber connector that can be plugged into the opposite plug to supply 12 volts to the cars systems. The plugs are taped with gorrilla tape to the rain gutter).

Interesting, curious as to what was the issue- height or the seats?

The drivers seat is pretty roomy, and I would bet there are Mach E owners here larger, so I’m guessing it’s the height?
